Coffee Pandesal (with music version)
Hey loves~! Here's another pandesal recipe idea for y'all to try at home. I've been trying some pandesal flavors since the Ube Pandesal came in trending and so far this soft and fluffy Coffee Pandesal has been my favorite mainly because I'm a coffee lover myself :D I also got this idea because I was craving for Kopi Buns (Coffee Buns) I'd say this turned out really good and it quickly became a family fan favorite. How to Make Coffee Pandesal
Preheated Oven:185°C (365°F) *not 370°F as shown in the video
Baking Time: 15 minutes
Makes 9-12 pcs. of pandesals
INGREDIENTS:

12 g (2 tbsp) INSTANT COFFEE, STRONG (get it here: shp.ee/z4behmw)
118 ml (1/2 cup) WATER, HOT
*mix instant coffee and hot water. leave it until lukewarm
420 g (3 1/2 cups) + extra flour for kneading ALL PURPOSE FLOUR OR BREAD FLOUR *I used All Purpose Flour here but I recommend using bread flour if you can. Use a scale to weigh your flour but if you're using measuring cups, DO NOT scoop flour from the container using your measuring cup. Use a spoon to scoop the flour into your measuring cup and use a knife or any straight object to level the flour across the measuring cup.
1 g (1/4 tsp) SALT
100 g (1/2 cup) SUGAR
5 g (1 1/2 tsp) INSTANT DRY YEAST (get it here: shp.ee/sfuemcw)
1 large EGG, beaten
59 ml (1/4 cup) MILK *you can use whole milk or evaporated milk
55 g (1/4 cup) BUTTER, melted *salted or unsalted butter is fine to use
15 ml (1 tbsp) VEGETABLE OIL
60 g (1/2 cup) BREAD CRUMBS
1st Rise: 30-90 minutes
Final Rise: 20-30 minutes
Best served warm. Enjoy!
