You are Blessed.. I have a working daughter, and a school age daughter plus a grandbaby who visits her other side of her family. I have gotten COVID only from inside of my home. I wear a mask and received the shot once. I also worked around over 1000 ppl. So we have to think that lots will get COVID due to how many are in your home and how many ppl you are around. Just food for thought. We also protect ppl like my Dad and grandma who are 80s and 90s who never had COVID by protecting them wearing a mask...

Never took the Covid vaccine, I did wear a mask when I had to but only when I HAD to. Never got Covid. I do take the flu shot and I’ve not had the flu in years. I will say, I take lots of vitamins to help with my immune system. My brother and his wife took all the Covid shots and still got Covid 3 times.

Jami looks so cute in that hat. Jami, as someone who used to be a professional cake decorator, I can tell you that that cake sounds like a tall order for just about anyone. I just recently made my grandson’s wedding cake, they got married on Halloween. I can tell you that I enjoyed every minute I put into that cake. He was my first grandchild and the first one to ever get married. So I was more than excited to get to make their cake. I think I’d like to e-mail you a picture of it if you don’t mind. Im so proud of how it came out. It’s all done in black & purple with bats and skeletons and black & purple roses. Anyway I wish you much success with Karter’s birthday cake. I have faith in you and know you’ll do a wonderful job on it.

I get it, because I used to bring in dogs to rescue as well. My husband stopped me because of the costs and trouble getting them new homes. I always limited to 4 rescues, not including puppies. It's probably going to happen again, but I am waiting for him to retire. That's how working together as a couple is. Y'all are a GREAT couple. I pray that y'all got everything set up appropriately for your wills, to cover each other in an emergency. I love y'all.

It made me feel better hearing you talk, Lester, about what the hill used to be like and how everything has changed. I have been going through a lot this year after the family property burned to the ground in a wild fire. Yesterday was the closing of the sale of the land. Almost 70 years of family life gone. But it is good to be reminded of how lots of people have been through this kind of loss and life moves on. Thank you for being you, Lester. I strongly dislike that people feel the need to say mean, nasty things to you two. I would so love to see the bringing up ( I don't call it training) of Rita. I have told ya from the start, I fully believe she is going to be the best horse. I am a "horse person" and I refuse to criticize the way a person brings up their horse (or any other animal) unless they are beating or mistreating them. People need to realize that y'all are not trying to turn Rita into a show horse or a trail riding horse, and while you may want to ride her in the future, you are also totally happy to have her just b a horse. She is safe, fed, healthy and loved and that is all that matters.

That “selective hearing” isn’t only a man thing. Women can do it, too. Sometimes my husband will come to me and say something (sometimes quite involved), and after he leaves I have no idea what he was talking about. But, he usually tries to talk to me when I am trying to concentrate on something else already. I just call it a human condition with various causes. 😄

I love that you guys are bringing back the 80's. I had a paperboy hat in herringbone gray that I cherished. Goes great with a school uniform look as well. Jamie has a more traditional look.
