First met Chris is 2009 during the end game tour, been to around 20 Act of defiance shows, caught last 2 minutes of In Flames. He treats everybody like family. I remember first hearing about Chris back in the early 2000s. My friends and I found those early 240p videos of Chris playing classical guitar and his crazy 4 finger tapping licks. I’m pretty sure he was playing in Jag Panzer at the time (his original band) and eventually to see him join Megadeth was a huge trip, I was really proud for the guy. Chris is a stand up guy, total sweetheart.

This interview warms the heart. It’s two of my favorite dudes having coffee talking about music, life and gear. There are tons of interviews you can find on KZbin, but it’s far more interesting when fellow musicians sit down and talk to each other than the random TV or radio personality. I barely knew Chris since I wasn't a megadeath fan but now that he's in my world I cannot thank him enough for making in flames even much better than it already was, some say he saved the band, some say he improved it, both are true, after those sellouts ex members left the band and made in flames v2 which will never be as over as the original in flames, this was the best thing that could happen.
