Uncle Coffee, I almost messed up with Maryknoll and Canossian where that damn goose 777 attended there once. And there was a well-known Al fresco dining called ‘Cafe Galano’ just opposite Coffee House and Captain’s Table. Btw, when Lo Ti lived at 164 Boundary street Corner La Salle Rd. as mentioned here, her ex-hubby Chen Hau was living just one block away called Short Street, really short, as I saw him quite often when I went to my female owner’s home who had a garment factory in SPK, I was an office boy there. That’s part of the memories in the 60’s.and I was baptised in 1957 at St. Teresa’s Church.

I only knew there was one in Wanchai since the 60’s. ‘Bak Gung’ in Cantonese , and a murder was involved there.

Thank you so much for uploading this clip. It brought back many memories of my childhood. We lived in Kowloon Tong, so Saint Teresa’s was our family’s church. All family members were baptized and married there. I was baptized there as well. We also did catering at home for birthdays and Christmas. I remember running around happily in the garden with my cousins while the cooks worked hard in the back kitchen. That was over 50 years ago. It was another time, another Hong Kong. We have been living overseas for 50 years now….

It's my pleasure to bring back your memories of childhood. Saint Teresa'a Church is the most famous icon in Prince Edward Street for baptizing/wedding ceremonies. And catering at home was very common around the place you lived in those days as well. Welcome to coffeepak Channel and I sincerely hope that you would enjoy staying here.

@@evawong8374Mum said Patrick Tse Yin was living upstairs of Coffee House, with GL, he wore the smelly and wrinkled morning gown to enjoy the breakfast almost every day.* Mum worked there for 5 years, Coffee House and Cafe Galano were the movie stars’s favourite gathering spots since 60’s.
First time I saw Angela here besides Eva and Irene Wong, in alphabetical order, haha! Btw, during the White Australia Policy decades ago, ‘ Two Wongs don’t make a White’ to against the Chinese, Dammit!

Fortunately ‘Mei Jair’, Ms Nam Hung is a quiet lady, otherwise how could her hubby Mr.Chor Yuen wrote the scripts without noise disturbance as ‘ Bee Lee Bar Lar’ next to him.
Thanks for the nice professional production. It brought back my memories when i was 7 years old. I walked from 亞太區 to ng chi wan through prince Edward road. I still remembered that there was fruit tree along tge way and i picked up and ate as my lunch.
A Dai Luk colleague wanted to correct my words 20 years ago, he said “I was expecting to correct you for a long time, it’s’Chirt Hau Shing Cheung’ not ‘ Chirt Hau Shing Man’, then I responded, “ that’s what you guys up there to say it, just like ‘Woon Gui’ toys, they pronounced as ‘Waan gui’, ‘ jig see’ turns ‘jig sai’ or ‘hey loi turns ‘ hey sun’.= it looks perfect , they would say, “ tight ‘Hei sun’ ok.
