Regardless of episode 3A releasing first or both episode 3A and 4 releasing some time later, 3B and its ep 4 will probably take the same amount of time, it can be longer even if the author really wants to go all out.

I don't know why people are surprised their going the Decay route first. It's because Burial is so popular that they can afford to delay it knowing people will wait to play it anyway, if they release Burial first the audience waiting for Decay is smaller and less invested and it might kill the games momentum completely.

I have a feeling the overall majority amount of people will choose the cliffhanger choice because it’s just has been quite awhile to say the least since the release of chapter 2, and for that wincest will need to come later.

I doubt any of the endings gonna end in a semi happy ending tbh. In decay Andrew is starting to hate Ashley more and more, I would guess that he is gonna ditch/kill her at some point. ( Ditching her would probably end with Ashley getting arrested, that idiot would survive on its own )

@@Flopamine Burial and Decay do not lead to the same exact outcome, decay just kills them off there and then putting an ending to them both after their bonding relationship between the 2 have ended or weakened to a point that they can't trust each other however this outcome won't be so great for them both since their own mother and father as well the occults that their mother and father are associated with will have picked off the surviving other main character yet at other points depending how far have been gotten to with another path to decay route as it still won't go great for either of them because they both either do end up dead still or one dies and the other is alive for now perhaps not wanting to live anymore for obvious reasons thus also ending oneself after ending the other main character that the other main character happens to love, decay only means death to both main characters and ruins their chemistry to decay and wither away dead no longer existing as they will end up dead Coffin Of Andy And Leyley have ties to 2 meaning that they are both about to bury their former selves that being their middle name idenity alias that they are mostly known as to cover up their own real identity alias yet kept their real surname without a choice as well since they have been plotted by their own parents to be killed sold off to occult harvests after faking their deaths in secret by their own claims yet it was exposed by both main characters as they are going to be hunted by occult members and the other meaning is that they have buried the idea of them keeping their personal deep secrets to themselves that they have thoughts and feelings for each other turned out that they have always loved, cherished and had affection for each other the whole entire time and the fact that Andrew/Andy have looked after Ashley/Leyley for awhile now growing up knowing each other best and can only trust each other since Ashley only personally knows and loved someone that being Andrew/Andy and the same thing goes for Andrew/Andy about Ashley/Leyley I only hope for their survival and to win (win win), i only hope for them to achieve defeating the 3 multiple eyed demon lord (from noelle's universe) as well defeat the occultists (i know deep down that Julia's connected to family members involved in these occults as she is likely involved with these occult murder rituals too for the same reasons and same interests as her father, one of the occult members looks like he could be her father since they share a common trait between the 2 if you have noticed their eye colors) after them and get what they truly wanted for each other shared between each other.

Decay is not the true route for that obvious reason, plus they will have already died just like they have done in the earlier development of COAAL before the newer devblog updates and there won't be a continuation of this trilogy if they have just died, Julia is not an important character as these 2 however a side character perhaps with her own ulterior notions and motives against both main characters.

@@FlopamineBut remember the very first dev log of the game said that there is only “one” happy ending.. This was after naming 3 sins of the game and saying that the story only gets worse. This makes me think that the happy ending will not contain any of those sins in the end Also remember that Andrew himself said in episode two that he wanted to “Bury” Andy and Leyley. The next episode literally can be burial which is where I think this happy ending is..

The game seems to have already been almost finished with decay we could get burial a lot earlier since they only need to make amount of abjustments which they could have pulled off in one year however i am not surprised it is taking them awhile to do that since they are only a 2 member project and the detail behind this trilogy's game seems like it will take awhile if done by an individual or 2 members of such a project.

In all fairness, it's 3-4 hours of gameplay; chapter 2 was only 2 hours, and came out 6 months after chapter 1. If Chapter 3 is going to be 4 hours long (assuming that includes all possible easter eggs and choices) then i think a year isnt that unreasonable to take. I'm assuming that while they can't show much, they have a general layout for the 2 other routes in the game also. Decay probably came out first because it'll leave their audience with a better "taste" in their mouths if they save the happier endings for later. I can only assume some people left the project or weren't as active after Nemlei got doxxed and went underground. Blame the crazies.

In all honesty I really feel that the creator should’ve waited a little longer to announce the story in general. It’s not really a good look to be in a basically six month delay and then come out of it for one month just to be put into another one the month after. We even had a placeholder graph just for it to be taken away a month later Also seemingly confirming that it’s just not coming out this year. Which means that all we got this year was spoilers and major spoilers, month after month after and even started to bring in so many preview clips along with the screenshots which is kinda worse, I just don’t think that’s very professional to spoil the story this much every month..

I will still play the game however i will wait patiently just for burial, we all know burial/love route is the actual true route for the main characters, i know it it and i hope it is, we know they are going to survive and make it through it all out alive I already have my expectations on COAAL PT3 decay route is going to be like, where every supposed touchy loving interaction moments between both main characters that should have been will all be shunned and will all be altered astray where they end up hating each other and either 1 or both will end up dead or killed again which they should have been dead already or one of either by choice is dead in pt2 or pt1 decay (yet there is more recently included decay routes or paths that do instantly lead to decay route) however i see those advents or scenarios or moments as a parallel reality perhaps more than 1 parallel reality of their situation that is being visioned yet not actually happening in the main one being burial reality yet their own reality only witnessing and experiencing their apparent parallel selves since the multiple 3 eyed demon lord (originally from Noelle's universe) just keeps pitting them against each other to their own deaths and weakning their trusts or relationship affecting their actions and way of thinking as well jeopardizing their bonding and survivability together with pretence vision sequences of them plotting or attempting to kill each other or into betraying each other as these occultists and demons want them to think and want them to They both do deseve each other, they have chemistry like it is destined to be for them both I still recommend Andrewnotandy and Copium 115/C-115 content on COAAL perhaps the best ones i have seen so far, i also do recommend Andrewnotandy's "Bird Cage" and "What Could've Been" perhaps the best fanon/fanmade/fanfiction story so far and his own COAAL stories are also longer, more extended more detailed yet closely similar enough to actual COAAL like it was written by Nemlei and Kit9.

this may sound dumb but, any updates on the oficial translation?, i have been trying to use the fan's ones but they simply don't work for me, when i try changing the languages it only sticks to the english language

I don't think there's any update on that sadly, only when new chapters are out will they do some translation update I guess, though I believe there are ways to put the translation files into the game manually if you search hard enough.

I’m tired of waiting so long. I came excited to see progress report #10 only to find out that the Decay route will be released first and they haven’t EVEN started the Burial route. I understand that they will release the Decay route first and leave the Burial route for last because Burial is so popular that delaying it means people would still wait for it. If they released Burial first and then Decay last, the people waiting for Decay would be fewer and less interested, which would kill the game’s momentum. But still, entering progress report #10 and seeing that they have NOTHING on the Burial route is disappointing, I won’t deny it. I’m not saying Decay is completely bad, but having nothing on the Burial route really didn’t sit well with me.

It took 6 months for ep2 to be released, and ep 3 is gonna be longer than 2 and 1 combined, which were, all together, 2-3 hours long.

@@rarescevei8268They only need to adjust the same pt3/chapter 3/Ep3 into burial route which won’t take long however they perhaps need to change up some of the scenery outcomes and dialogues as well to match perhaps both route will be different more than expected just not by a lot to extents Plus it is not just decay they have only released so far they have also released Julia as a playable character from her own perspective apparently however I don’t consider her as an important character more of a side character who acts vaguely innocent yet is still mostly mysterious and could potentially have her own ulterior motives and notions against main characters of COAAL.
