Hi. Inspired by your video we've just visited The Memorial Chapel. How can we find out about the people and the community, where people who were evicted were rehoused, how they settled. It's a very moving memorial. Dioch yn fawr.

Oh! Cariad- i might have a very different channel and life to you but many of my early videos were made around here. Dwin siarad Portugaleg rwan, and live here now. I love your beautiful Gog accent. After my Nain and my Taid brought me here as a kid , their stories stuck in my heart forever. ive flown paragliders from Mynydd Nodol and in the background, rode dirt bikes and Scuba dived every Llyn, rode mountain bikes since the 80s in an obsession with being alone within the poetic beauty of Gogledd Cymru. I explian this story to my Portuguse freinds in their language about this place and they are shocked this happened so recently given that the U.k is so apparently accepting of other cultures. This is the first time i have watched a video and cried like a baby. i dont know why.

I never understood why some Welsh people feel animosity towards the English. I think I do now, and I'm sorry.

Independence is the only answer, empty the lake and re build Capel Celyn Let England build a dam in there country , if England need water there a bigger country than Wales there for they got more land to flood, I don't and never had a problem with Liverpool People there are one of the best in fact people of Liverpool were on our side it was the fault of the English government in London in England

How is independence the answer? Would English independence have prevented the English village of Charlton Hayes from being demolished to build an RAF base that defended Wales from being bombed?

Yes indeed. Vote for independence.

When I read all this anti English sentiment it make me sad that we can’t see the event for what it is, down treading the little people. In my older years I’ve come to realise it’s not different nations but us all against the establishment.

It's a shame the Senedd have forgotten why they were put there in the first place, they don't appear to be listening to the people they serve now.

Poor little Taffies - weren't the only ones to lose their homes etc. Cofiwch Ashopton and Derwent hefyd. - and other places in England. ALL part of the UK. If Wales wants independence - go for it - and good luck. Alas, there aren't enough tax payers in Wales to support themselves. A fact. Dymuniadau gorau o'r Rhondda.

I'm English. But if Wales had all the royal lands and parts of the seabed that the crown stole from them - they could well be self sufficient. then, they wouldn't need our useless un democratic parliament full of careerist lackies.
