You know what I like about you guys? You are NOT whiners. What a huge disaster that water was. A real legitimate time to whine. Not you guys. You roll up your sleeves and you get started on the job. There's laughter, and hard work. I'm excited to see what everything looks like when you're done. Sorry for the disaster .. But hey, you guys got this. Of course you've got this, you're Cog Hill Farm's. Love you guys. If you decide that this was a fun job, come over my house. I'll put you to work.

Did she (the goose) show up alone? The Dad on Canada Geese usually helps with the chicks. I read that and saw it with 2 geese that used to be where I worked at. I named them. They would come up and lie down by where I was sitting. I could pet them and they would fall asleep.

Oh that’s awful. That happened to us. We got home from work a few years ago, and our house was flooded! Kitchen and dining room was almost ankle deep. It had run down the walls into the finished basement and a huge stream ran out to the pool. I panicked and was breathing so hard. My hubby turned the the water off and I called the insurance company. Then took photos and prayed! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Brooke and Jason, we feel for y'all. Leaky pipe in the basement this last week. A bright spark hung wall board and screwed into a pipe and it finally eroded enough. Wall tore out. Ceiling tore out. What a shame. That happened to me too in the cellar and water spewing out like Niagara Falls from suck a small break no larger than a nickel from the pipe freezing. Funny story to go along with it though. The repair man (who was a friend of my brother in laws family) was given a key to my house so he could squeeze me into his schedule to repair it. Well he opened the garage door and kept in the opened position and forgot to punch in the code to disarm the silent alarm. His hands and arms were up in the air holding some sheet rock in place and heard a males voice right behind him holding a gun saying "That's where I want you to keep your hands up". He turned around and it was a cop responding to my security alarm. He had some explaining to do before the cop believed him before the cop would let him put his arms down. He told me later, he should of gotten some hazard pay for this job and holding the heavy sheet rock in place. We all howled with laughter.

Mary Carl is awesome - full of confidence and knowledge - reminds me of her mother - a can-do kind of girl. Jason your family is terrific and just plain awesome. Jason, " you got this I'm going to feed the goats " - just plain awesome parents. How sweet to have those visitors. I'm sure that lifted their spirits. It sure lifted mine. Thanks for sharing their visit. What a kind family. Oh, my. I had 2 water leaks and it went all through the house. In the middle of the night, my dog jumped on my face and I knew something wasn't right. I stepped into a lake ( hot water heater spigot broke ). The next one was in the spare bathroom and I didn't know it until I went to the kitchen turned around and my footprint was embedded in the living room carpet. One word - SHOPVAC ( of course after locating the main turnoff water value ). Like I said, OH MY. Wow. What a day you had. A great vlog.

Love the migrating Canadian Geese here in northern middle Tennessee....they stop off at a neighbor's pond coming and going every year.....some of the most thrilling and magnificent creatures when honking each other on.....such a lesson. I pray traveling mercies for them and clap as they go overhead. Has been a decline since we moved here 5 years ago. It is sad to see a single goose....don't know if they have lost their lifetime mate, or if they are the only one left of their flock after all the crazy weather incidents around the world.....you are blessed that this goose has touched down on your property....poor baby ......

If there's one thing I learned from my daddy, it's "water always wins." I don't care if it is poor job on flashing a roof, window leaks, ice dams, or pipe breaks, it wins. No giant tube of caulking, no double layer of foam, and no pipe tape will fix it. You have to get down to the source. Can't wait to see it all put back together!

I just had a similar situation this winter in my master bedroom bath and I reacted the same way as Mrs. Cog Hill. Luckily my dog was in our bedroom sleeping and she came running to me shaking which prompted me to get up to figure out what was scaring her (she is a 75lb black lab that is scared of her shadow sometimes lol) so I found out about it quickly. If she didn’t alert me it probably would have been hours before I noticed anything was wrong. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when you are done. God Bless any stay safe!

Been there, done that! I was gone for about 30 minutes, came home to water pouring out my front door. Opened the door and my whole house was flooded. Went to the bathroom to find water hitting the ceiling. The high pressure line to the toilet busted 😑😑 Servepro cameout everyday for a week. I lost all my flooring in the whole house, my whole bathroom had to be gutted, lost all my base boards, all doors, every wall had to be cut at the bottom up 6 inches. This happened in October and my house still isn't finished! 😑😭😑😭

A flood in a house is no fun. Even though you may not think it was a good idea (after see the mess) it was a good idea to call in ServPro. Jason double check, installing tile, It is not generally recommended to install the tile on plywood. Generally a cement board is installed between the plywood and tile. You've got a great team and never doubt yourself. Remember " I Can"....

We had a septic disaster in January 2011. About time, because I always hated the carpet in the bathroom (I don't know what the previous owner, who was also the builder of this house, was thinking!). We ripped out the carpet and the cabinet. That's it. 10 years later, today, the bathroom is still naked.
