vCoH, no Oppossing Fronts, such a beautiful high water mark in the RTS genre. Apparently some of the old Relic folks have been hired at Blackbird Interactive and the original designer for CoH is at Bonfire games, the new studio with a ton of ex-Blizzard people. So, maybe at gamescom we'll see something to be optimistic about.

Since the last patch it's a bug that the don't stop immediately when somebody leaves the game. Instead the drop out timer starts to count down

I love coh1 that in first 15 min was only Infantery game play

The first 15 minutes had vehicle gameplay. The Schwimmwagen arrived around the 3 minute mark. The M8 greyhound arrived around the 8 minute mark.

Regarding voice acting, Coh1's is mostly better because it would have had a much larger budget than Coh2, especially for Coh2's later factions.

would be so much watchable if Relic made a Replay/Stream specific ui, similar to what they did in Homeworld 2 the Hyperspace map... just put an extra twist, now the minimap not needed could be a zoomable highlight-lens (30-40% of the screen, with distortion at peripheries so it can kinda display what it would obscure orthogonally) that the narrator moves around in the nice big fullscreen (unartisticized) map... would still catch all the micro action and its meta context at the same time... the res and unit list would fit on the margin with VP, an opposite margin could have stuff of the selected object... a lot more people would watch and be drawn in to play, great game, totally deserves this extra mile...

It's a shame barbed wire is only ever used for blocking off Cover in Coh2 and not for also limiting movement like it is in Coh1.

Aye, vs. highest level US play I have no idea why Noggano though this would work, especially with the bunkers so high up. His puma losses cost him the game though, the meta he was trying to play was create a T3 army, and it didnt' ever get going, as you mention because he didn't have both of his fuels all game.

Was a long time since I played CoH1 but the way I remember it, it was really hard to attain veterancy on your units because squad wipes were far more common and easier in CoH1 than in CoH2. In CoH2 infantry have much higher survivability as a unit compared to vehicles, while CoH1 had units as easy to squad wipe as the vehicles.

@@AECoH I feel like if he spent the munitions on upgrading one of his 2 pumas with the cannon upgrade to hunt down the greyhound when it first came onto the field to hunt it down would've been the best choice since the american player had no AT guns at that point. Also could've used the other Puma to go immediately after his sniper or at least build a scwimmwagen since he was floating enough manpower to quickly get one out.

I love coh1, yet I always get bewildered how it is the only game where even the top notch players make retarded mistakes no I am not talking about a badly reversed panther, showing side armor due to bad pathing or getting a whole squad grenade-wiped due to being focussed otherwhere It is things like having a very offensive medbunker, doing rly good work for u getting off-map'd while retaining 10% HP and is NOT repaired wtf man

As for fake GG WP, I think what happened was that he called GG and then quit the game. And what happened was that the AI took over to continue playing.
