Thanks Hans :) Iv started putting up my games on KZbin and can see, having looked at your videos, that my idea of always picking a commander early has a distinct weakness. Nonetheless, I like playing the game in that way, but I do love how you divided commanders into 4 distinct categories.

luftwaffe commander useless? ive never had those planes shot down before the payload lands. this doctrine hasnt ever been not meta. idk how 1v1 is. but in 2v2 luftwaffe is one of the best.

Hans! I've got some little questions. (I'm a fairly new player) When you attack ground, let's say with an AT gun to a tank, what happens if you point the attack past the target but in the projectile's trajectory? Does it hit the tank? Or do you need to specifically point the ground where the tank is? Also, if you are targeting infantry, with let's say a Tiger, is it efficient to attack the ground where they are standing instead of just ordering a direct attack on them? And what about maintaining distance in infantry combat? The typical situation I find myself in, is a storm pioneers section rushing the covered position of my riflemen in a resource sector, I get rekted and I'm forced to retreat or I simply have to leave the sector because I know it's a loosing position. Is there a way to create distance while attacking or at least maintaining it? My guys just turn their backs to the enemy section with regular positioning orders. Thanks in advance man, love your content, keep up the good work!!!

OKW Defensive Doctrince Commander is very usefull too. I was able to defend one vp (4v4 map) by 4-5 mg bunkers and 2 PaK 88s against blobs with few tanks. And as I see more people like to blob today

Jäger Light Infantry are also exceptionally good vs Snipers because of the way their single G43 works: if the target entity is below 75% health, it gets shot to death, much like a sniper always one-shotting... so if they spawn near a sniper they hit him 1-2 times, then the guy with g43 just needs one more hit... :)

2:06 from my experience, Stug E is sooooo weak. I'd rather wait a bit to get the versatile Panzer 4 than the Stug E. Its slow projectile will miss a lot of times, especially against moving targets, its armor is weak, and it's helpless against all tanks even T34-76

Agreed. Stug E is great vs mass infantry but good luck keeping it alive. I think they nerfed the front armor over the year or 2

Hans, can you tell me please how to defeat a british emplacement heavy player in 1vs1 with OKW? One that builds a bofors and a mortar between two important victory points, plus reinforce it with an AT gun. ISG dont do any notable damage against them. Raketenwerfer AT gun would be good because of the range, but the mortar kills the crew in one attack. Dont know how to handle that. Thanks.

You need walking stukas and/or commander barrages such as scavenge doc 105mm. Overwatch doc Goliaths and sector assault could work too.

But you gotta invest in both T1 and T2, which means you gotta defend yourself from early Cromwell with raketens or schrecks. Need like 2-3 stukas against a good sim city player who uses brace and repairs well. Also constant flares cost munitions so you get less stgs or dont throw nades. It all stems from the very cost effective emplacements and their great synergy together. You have to invest in units which are more expensive than the thing they're meant to counter, and it's way more micro intensive to attack a sim city than to defend one.

Although it's a long time already,i still play this game and I like to use mobile warfare doctrine for early game against British or USA since the assault grenadier is pretty good at killing enemy infantry (almost op at start) also I would like to know if there's anyway to avoid losing in early against the assault grenadier other than using armored recon car (with infantry) and mg sometimes aren't working very good.

Great tips as always mate! One question: What's your take on the Soviet Advanced Warfare Commander for Soviets? To me it seems to be covering all bases with more conscript utility, doctrinal tank and air support (though admittetly not of the strongest kind) Hope you have time to reply :)

Why would you take the pershing over the indestructible blob of Sherman Eeasy8's, i can understand in 1v1 that the pershing might do a better job, but at 3v3 4v4 you can win the game for the team with one good 5-6 tank rush with easy8's, you dont even have to worry about popcap cause of the ability to take the crew off

+pelihullu69 In a 3v3 or 4v4s you can still do that with normal shermans. The pershing's double tap ability is very useful in all game modes that catches most by surprise.
