Is there a particular reason tightrope is so adverse to scoped rifled on the auzzies? Theres no downside last time I checked and he seems to constantly forget to use the marksman shot to polish off squads or even in general

Sometimes, you want the munitions to be spent on using the Veterancy ability of the aussies the swing the fights into your favour. But I don't know exactly why he didn't take it on any squad.

In his review from this lastest patch he talks about how the long damage from the scoped rifles is actually about even with the base weapon and actually loses damage at close range. This is due to the buff to the base rifles, so unless you really spam their ability, it is not worth the munis to get the scoped rifle.

I think it's pretty balanced. It does cost manpower to call in. So you can't abuse it to much.

Gusta vs Stuart, crusader and assuie inf. they kill at gun and sappers then retreat with no model losses… yeah that’s balance
