@@cmike123 I've watched people die that were less then 20 from "Natural Causes". Why let that worry you in the least, that was them and you are not them. We all have only the time we have, that could be 15 minutes or 102 years. Worrying that your getting older or it might be your turn next is silly, unless your terminally ill is just wasting your time and energy. Personally I figured I'd be gone by 35 but 60 is staring me in the face and I'm enjoying every day I wakeup in. Took me a long time to realize I'm silly to be thinking just because others have passed young I could too and because of that I wasn't enjoying what was going on around me.

Happy Birthday, Cohh! Sound advice you’ve provided! I retired from the Marine Corps at 40. It was a huge change to step outside of that and start a new career. I had to discover who I was outside of what I had done for my whole young adult life. I landed somewhere but then decided it wasn’t my thing and made yet another change at 44. Where I am now is where I never thought I’d be. No longer paycheck to paycheck, debt free and living the dream. If I feel I’ve outgrown where I am now, I have the confidence to make another change despite my age (49). We only limit ourselves. The sky really is the limit. It’s not always an easy road but it’s worth it.

It's been a grind but finally has started to pay off over the last couple months. I felt like I was failing for a long time but just kept at it with learning and making contacts in the industry. Happy birthday! I just turned 50 last month. Getting older is a luxury most cannot afford. As an aside, I started law school at age 36, passed the bar at age 39 and now work as a public interest attorney providing free legal services to the homeless population of Alameda County helping them to get out of poverty and off the streets. I feel fulfilled that the choices I've made have placed me in the best position to help the largest number of people possible. Appreciate all that you do for so many, Cohh.
