I like this journey from Coimbatore to Mayiladuthurai by Jan Shatabdi express with my favourite locomotives of India. My favourite diesel locomotive is dual cab EMD wdp4d whereas my favourite electric locomotives are wap4 and wap7.

Interesting video. I've Never been on this line, but this train connects the 2 places in India where my ancestral family members lived. I've traveled to both places from Chennai by train several years back. During my journey, the mainlines from Chennai to Coimbatore and Trichy were electrified, but rest was diesel.
