I've essentially got three tiers of storage, with a temp storage for unsorted coins: 1) flips in books and folders. I place coins in stapled coin holders and arrange them in folders. All silvers, all commemoratives and curia pieces go here 2) flips in boxes. Shiny circulated coins go here, as well as *old* non-precious circulated coins. 3) wrapped/rolled in ISO 9706 compliant copy paper by KM code, ziplock-bagged by country and stored in a box Temp) plastic box or organizer box by general material and size. Finer sorting is with disposable paper cups before processing to 1-3. Been thinking of buying organizer boxes so I wouldn't have to sift through every bag whenever I get new coins. Then I'll have to re-evaluate wrapping and rolling, as new coins would be added to a wrap, envelope, or roll. And with KM codes of which I've collected an example for every year, I'm thinking of leaving organization out entirely for excess coins and just put them in a common bag for eventual sale. Would have to go through them to see if I can find any mules, errors or other deviations that might improve their value.

Yes. My coins are in compartment boxes as well. Better than tins to rattle around in or coin bags they could fall out of.

I use round cotton wipes on the bottom of each section but if the coins are top quality I put a wipe between each coin to avoid scratching that’s if I don’t have to many coins.

What a marvellous coin collection you have. Do you have a method of storing the PNC's and RAM coin cards. I am looking to purchase some sort of suitable 4 post binder! Hey pj. Awesome collection.. best I've seen. My coin collection so far is commemorative coins in good condition 20 50 and 1. Coloured 2s . The aus $1 . And low mintage coins . Have about 100 bucks worth of face value. At this stage I'm not to worried about what they are worth and selling them. Any way thanks for all the info your videos are great .

I keep all mine in books with pockets I think tbe 5 briefcases weigh about 60kg each I dont know exactly how much in $$$ worth My pennies are all mint i have 1 penny for every year 1900 to 1963 And deciml since 66 I collect for my grandchildren might get something in the future

Looks like ya'll have a lot of different coins in circulation, they aren't as popular in the states. Especially with Debt Cards being widely used.

Yes, we sure do and we love our limited edition, anniversary and celebration coins. Lots of things to look out for and put aside. When we were in the US in 2017 I tried to collect as many of the different state quarters as I could find, along with at least one good condition example of each denomination for my collection/scrapbook.
