I like using the 7/16 punch on my .50 cent pieces and it makes a nice wide band. I mostly use the 3/8 punch for the quarter rings as well. I've don't see how others can take all the taper or coning out of the ring. I've heard on the quarters you stretch one size larger than the target and reduce, halves two sizes above, and dollars three sizes above. I don't like to stretch anymore than necessary because when you stretch the ring too much you stretch the detail too much. I find I get better detail to stretch to the size I need and not over, but there will be more coning. Is that a trade off. Either less detail to live with or more coning?

will these coin rings seems there only 90% sliver leave black marks on finger

+eric oneil Hi Eric, that's right, the 90% silver coin rings will not leave someone with the "green finger"; unlike clad coin rings will.
