Let's coin roll hunt Nickels for some Silver Nickels and some more Buffalo Nickels! We found a first for me! We found... well, you'll have to watch! We'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage. Nice finds. That is like a typical box here lately from my bank in Midlothian, about 50 miles south. I have been coin roll hunting for 27 years and had a first for me. Box 1 had 13 wheats and a 1900 indian. Box 2 had 6 wheats and an 1893 indian. The first consecutive indian boxes ever, both found wreath side up. Love your videos and commentary. Rob C

I'm not close to Rob. But I have the zinc pennies, most of the copper Lincolns. Some Indian Heads one bird cent, lots of colonial cents because I live near colonial American battlefields so do a lot of metal detecting when possible.

Thanks Rob for another great hunt video. I did a hunt yesterday of pennies. Lots of goodies. Better than a dozen wheat-backs. Some looked like they were cleaned as the color seemed off. I think I may have found a 2009P FS-801 or 802. I need to look at it under a scope. And it's in great condition.

Nickels are fun because there is a legit chance at silver or buffs in every roll. Plus a lot of foreign coins. Add that to lower cost of a box and they become very popular for hunts.

Tried some roll hunting today. 3 rolls quarters, 1 roll dimes, 1 roll nickels. Nothing too special, a 1991D dime that seems to be off center, and a pretty nice 1992D nickel.
