Today we start our first batch of steel, and while it's under process, i've made two coke ovens. And now that we've also made our first batch of coke, we can now finally make cupronickel which will be used with the Jonas parts!

I have an anti-recommendation on using the coke oven doors on your cementation furnaces, unless you really feel like babysitting them. The coke oven door makes the game think that your fuel chamber is also a coke oven. So what'll happen is that one of the piles will convert to cokes, and then the other one will, and then they'll burn down at different rates. It can be done, and it's probably a little more fuel-efficient than just using brown coal without a coke oven door, but it means you'll have to check in frequently to refill the fuel with coal when each pile runs down separately, rather than just requiring 5 distinct firings with no babysitting.

* Didn't realize you were using charcoal down there. Charcoal will work fine with a coke oven door on your furnace, but it'll get weird if you use any type of coal.

Thx Kurazarrh! Haven't thought about that at all! But since I am using the normal coal, it should be safe! If I ever get to using a different type of coal, then I'll have to remember that it might do that! You're the best! :D

Coke ovens can share walls. It saves on the amount of bricks you need.
