I just searched about the female singer, whom I sadly didn't know till now, and the biggest shock that I got is that she is an assamese by birth and sings bhojpuri folk songs, but the amazing marwari that she has sung with such an ease is incredible. I am a marwari and trust me guys these kind of songs are so touchy here, that we are very sensitive about the singing and pronunciation quality, and I would say that the commendable talent of the female singer in particular has made me feel goosebumps. Marwari singing is not everybody's cup of tea, kudos to kalpana patowary...

It's already a shame that we do not have enough songs from a talent like Kalpana Patowary in the mainstream. My mom and I listen to her Bhojpuri folk songs in sheer delight and cannot stop complimenting the feel and the 'rass' in her voice. India really needs to look beyond film music to identify with the richness of its heritage and folklore.

This is the reason I admire Papon so much...nowadays Coke Studio Bharat is so much dull and not on the spot...but rewind to 9 years ago...Singers like Papon and Kalpana Patwari are releasing hits...those days were the golden days of coke studio in India...If coke studio can bring back these singers and musicians again then I believe that it will reach new heights again.❤️
