I just purchased a 22 R3 and I’ve put over 1500 miles on it less than two weeks. It’s time to make changes and glad I found you and have made adjustments to my suspension. On the freeway with the factory set up. It seem to be fine and I just accepted the way it cruised. If you can imagine a Sherman tank on steroids that’s what I felt. Now that I have adjusted it feels more like Atlas V like it was designed to!🤪 you guys are great. Thank you so much, very detailed and explained it very well. The ride now is much easier on the back roads. Still needs a little tweaking, but at least I have a baseline to start.

For 90-100kg rider Start from screwed all the way in. Front suspension: RH fork (compression): 2 turns out. LH fork (rebound): 2.75 turns out. Rear suspension: Compression (RH side by rear footrest): 3 turns out. Rebound (Behind RH side cover in hole): Screw all way out (3.5 turns). Preload (Big knob under rear LH side): 10 clicks (5 turns) out. If carrying pillion 5 clicks out (2.5 turns out)

Thanks, guys! I have a 2020 Triumph Rocket 3 R. I have owned it for about two weeks. I went out on the highway and hit a few bumps on the road and the rear suspension was so stiff I felt like I was riding a hardtail motorcycle. The back of the bike would hop when it hit them. You have helped me solve the issue. I weigh about 95 kilos, so your settings should work great for me.

Hi guys, thanks for sharing that. Please educate me... Why the right and left front fork are set differently? Why are't they both at the same number of turns? Thanks a lot for you time! Best regards.

Ok, I found the answer by myself. The right one is the compression and the left one is the rebound.

Just picked my GT up last week. Have only had a chance to ride it once for about 50 miles. But it felt great....I don't think the dealership messed with the suspension. I come from riding sport bikes, and haven't really rode in couple of years, so maybe that's why it felt "normal" to me. Question I have though, is doing this suspension setup, obviously the goal is for a more comfortable ride (always welcomed), but will it hurt the performance and handling? There must be a reason Triumph shipped these bikes with these settings afterall, right? Educate me. :)

Good settings guys got me close to where I need to be, 100kg rider and had to go up one turn on the front compression. Still crashing a little on the front. What I would like to ask is tyre pressure, the stock is 39 but I’ve seen people run as low as 36. Thoughts guys? Cheers

I just got my rocket Gt this weekend., unfortunately my first ride I took my wife and she said it eas the most horrible feeling she had ever had due to the stiffnes and taking every bump harshly. How can I get it to be even softer than what you explained. Tks so much

If it's new it will need about 2 or 3 kilometres for the shocks to get softer
