What an incredible tribute to Charles L. Phillips, Jr. and to the all of those that fought for the freedom of our nation during World War II! Thank you for making Charlie's story available at a time when we need to remember the bravery, the commitment and the sacrifices of our WWII heroes! A story for the ages! Certainly the Greatest Generation!

Beautifuly don. Watched from Old Harbour Jamaica, B-29's use to come to Vernam Field on training missions early 1945. and my grand mother use to operate a shop south of the base and many of those boys use to buy from her.

What a FABulous video!!! I’m so touched by this & the deep devotion to God, country & family where sacrifice not selfishness was always a priority in Charlie & Mary Lou’s lives! What a glorious tribute by two Legacy kids Gayle & Jack! I have such magical memories of listening to your mom’s crystal bell voice & her rendition of Always & many other great tunes. Thank-you SO much for ALL your hard work on Rain of Fire, its promo & now this video to honor & not forget your dad’s legacy & all the courageous men & women who served in WWII ensuring our freedoms!!! Wonderful True Story ! A Real American Hero ! Thank You For Sharing It ! The B29 has always been my favorite Air Plane since i was a very small boy and I’ve been aboard two of them and seen the one at the National Air museum.
