Col De Turini (Dirt Rally convert) v1.5 for Assetto

The full v2 (twice as long) still isn't complete but you might as well have the performance improvements which will help to enable it.

All good, I do these for myself and am just paying forward. Wales conversion already exists (Sweet Lamb) but its desperately in need of an update. I've been finishing up Greece this week and have not decided what to take on next.

I appreciate the work your doing here, only a couple of issues, and they are minor, lots of hard edges in the scenery (track walls in particular) possibly due to unwelded verts or maybe smoothing groups...? The distant mountains look generic on triple screen setups/cockpit view, but otherwise great job on the conversion, just the right place for a 600hp McLaren to have fun!

I really like these DR2 conversions for Assetto. This is great work. One question though: Did you consider to make a mixed (tarmac/snow) surface for the Turini track? I´m using a self made "gravel tyre" for driving on low grip conditions that allow for high drift angles - so driving on mixed surface would be really fun.

Its DR 1.0 and yes, I thought about it seeing as thats how the track is originally. At the time of creation I had people telling me they wanted them opposite (no snow) so thats the direction I took. If/when I start modding again ill see if I can add it to v2.

Not really with current tools. There are a couple of stages that can export mesh without any objects or textures. See escape from carkov, Argentina mesh with Tarkov assets for the lolz.

@@DouglasThompson ye man, same here...... that said i had about 6 months where i couldnt play it as my new wheel rim didnt have a pause button.... or so i thought, i found the b*****d 6 months later hahaha, since then pedals, gear shifter and a button box were added, not been able to play since. there is a mod where multiple inputs could be enabled. either way someone needs to get the stages out of SLRE, they be some of the best ever done on rally games ;)

Hello mate. Excellent your Rally tracks (converted) for Assetto Corsa. Without a doubt, they were sensational. Furthermore, the variety of cars (classics and World Rally legends) from various eras is more complete in Assetto Corsa (with a multitude of skins), than the current WRC Generations and EA WRC (which I also bought), but it is difficult to play (due to unstable graphics). I ask a question. Do you have any other Rally (for future conversions)? I recently downloaded, as well as one from Monaco, one from Sweden, one from Greece and one from Finland, pure wonder. Do you have any others. Do you happen to have any predictions about locations, like San Remo, Corsica, Portugal, Spain, Germany or some other. I would be satisfied with 1 of each. Thank you in advance.

I have no idea how servers work in AC mate. Assetto is too easy to cheat plus when every single car has different tyre philosophy there's no point to competitive rally for me. Unless it's a one make rally I guess it could work. No idea how the league guys do it, I assume lots of testing to find cars with similar tyres. Besides, since my seperation I have no wheel anyway so will get creamed online. Knock yourself out though. I can't honestly remember if I added extra spawns to that 1.5 version, I might have been waiting to finish combining both of the DR stages into one. Now is not really a good time for me to finish that task TBH, another IRL kick in the guts with work handing out a redundency in 8 weeks. I'm sure I'll get around to it one day. Right now it's too many beers and not enough ideas.

@@GabenHood To be honest I have an assetto corsa discord with more than 600 people, and I'm more of the type to drive on the Nurburgring, in the end I got a little bored, and I fell on the Col de Turini track which is clearly amazing! I put four practically similar vehicles missing more than the map with several slots

Dirt Rally 2.0 track conversions arent really a thing currently. I sort of played with Argentina mesh in my escape from carkov map but its pretty bad.
