What an amazing trailer! The voice acting is so amazing and clear, and just sounds completely professional! I'm excited to see how things are changed, especially with the whole Spotted/Yellow switch. Even more so because Brokenstar and Shadowclan was pretty much the first villain, so it's interesting to see how things have changed. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this project, and how it will turn out!

THIS is so damn awesome. I have to admit I didn't know something about this before I saw the link to the patreon trailer, so when I saw this "Warriors: Fire Alone" I was kinda confused, but thought "Oh well maybe that's gonna be fun? Dunno what that is but I will take a look when its out." And I am glad I did. This project is freaking amazing and I only saw the trailer. It was an extreme amount of work and I am looking forward to the first arc. True I was suprised when Yellowfang delivered the prophecy, but I can understand to push this Spottedleaf drama out, probably the Brokenstar and Windclan exile drama aswell, because it isn't that nessecary for the whole plot "Fire will save the clans". I am very excited to see what you deleted and changed from the original books and I have to say I definetly won't be happy about all the changes (crossed fingers for Swiftpaw). However this got a little bit longer so here again: This is amazing. Thanks to all the voice actors and artists who worked with you on this and are still working. I would love to support this project, sadly I am not able to spend monthly, because I don't have a monthly income for myselfs, so patreon isn't really a thing I can do. If there is another way I would love to know about it ♥ This is gonna be the crown of the warriors fandom. Don't let peoples hate touch you because they don't like the changes. This is something completely different and a whole new story. And I am so hyped stepping into your world of "Warriors: Fire alone".

There are alot of people that are confused with the spottedleaf / yellowfang and Windclan changes, but honestly i couldn't care less! This trailer has one of the best voice acting that i have ever heard in a fan project, and the story seems really interesting, sort of murder mystery based (don't mind me, just making assumptions). I'm also curious about how will the visual side turn out. Anyway, this trailer got me hyped up so much! ^^ Edit: rip the person who screamed that last line

No offense to her fans because I liked her too back when I first read the books, but her relevance has actually always been questionable due to the minimal interactions she and Fireheart actually had. It's this "bond" with Firestar that makes her so important later on, but when the two barely interacted, there's actually no reason for to have permeated the series as long as she did, you know? Firepaw talks to her twice (that we see since assumably he'd have interacted with her more since he as an apprentice needed to help care for elders, and also was tasked with caring for Yellowfang, but saying hi and asking for supplies off-screen doesn't really count as romantic engagement, at most he just thinks she's really cute and one-sided/un-professed mutual infatuation isn't a basis for him to dream about her over the next five books). It's just that it's impossible for us as readers to see her as important to him when he barely knew her when she died, given we're told they loved each other. This importance to the protagonist that we're told is here is what makes her an important character later, but it's founded in little-to-no evidence based on character development.

^^ yes but prophecies can given by ANY medicine cat. It doesn't necessarily have to be her. Spottedleaf was just not an important character. She lived half a book, had a pointless crush on Firepaw, and then was abruptly killed. Considering they are apparently condensing a lot of books into a much shorter story, i'm not surprised they just switched her out for Yellowfang from the start to make things shorter

Since it's a stageplay and it's putting a 6 book series into around 2 hours characters have to be cut. Unfortunately Spottedleaf **cough*whoisbetterthanyellowfang*cough** was cut and replaces with Yellowfang. (I have nothing to do with the making of this, I'm just assuming. It seems a pretty safe assumption tho)

In short, possibly, but most likely, she was just cut entirely. Make's sense, as she's easily one of the most useless characters, and it just made sense to cut out the YellowFang and FirePaw interactions and YellowFang's redemption. Most likely they'll play out some of the interactions in this, but the whole prisoner plotline took up quite a bit of time in the early book(s?)
