He can definitely pull off the charm. I'm not terribly familiar with his work though, and talk shows aren't exactly violent, so I'm not sure how well he'd pull off the physicality and convincing mean-streak. Being inherently charismatic, like he is, is probably the more difficult part of the role, but it can be difficult to portray yourself as authentically tough.

My father, the King was deposed in the recent conflict in the Congo, the rebel leaders are putting pressure on me to release my father's funds to them, but I refuse. All I need from you is to open a bank account and receive the funds, in good faith, take your commission and leave the rest for investment in Europe. Interesting story about MLK. He was simply misquoted. When he was young, he also fell for a pastor's daughter; actually, twin daughters. He dreamed about them both for years, desperately coveting them both. Years later, when he finally got two women into bed at the same time, he yelled, 'Three at last, three at last, thank god almighty, three at last!'. His followers outside the room misheard what he was saying, because they could only guess what they were hearing from behind the door to the room.
