I watched them both with my Pepe. We had conversations about pollution and conservation and how we needed to fix our mistakes of almost wiping out species and ecosystems. This was in the late 70s. He was on to hig business poisoning places that couldn't fight back. He was a good one, died 40+ years ago and I still hear his voice. Positive vibes from New Hampshire, remember to be kind to each other and yourself during these trying times.

. I respect your choice to be a vegan, but God shouldn't have make them so damn tasty. Plus, I tried the vegan thing for 2 years and started having health issues because I wasn't getting all the vitamins and minerals and didn't want to have to take countless supplements to get them. But, koodos to you for being someone who cares about all animals. I really tried. ❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks for your comment. I bet Jeffrey Dahmer had the same thought about God making human flesh tasty. I'm guessing we taste much like other animals (though I don't plan to find out.🙃) I'm not looking for anyone's respect, just don't want anyone to suffer because of my choices. I guess the thing for me is that farmed animals don't have a choice--but our choice to eat them has consequences: a lifetime of incarceration, unfathomable suffering, and being killed as infants for humans' taste buds. It's great that you gave veganism a try! That's better than most people do. I also went back to eating animals briefly after going veg in 1989, but after seeing footage of what they go through, my conscience couldn't take it anymore and I never went back to eating animals or their secretions. It's by far the best decision I've ever made! Don't sell yourself short--you don't have to take a lot of supplements, but maybe just change up what you eat. Some people think when they go vegan they have to live on salads or not eat any fat, etc. and then end up not feeling well. Some of the world's most elite athletes swear by a vegan diet and my sister-in-law who is a personal trainer and professional bodybuilder does as well. It's never too late to come back to the kind side! ♥️🐷🐶 And even if you don't think you can go completely vegan, every time you choose the vegan option over the animal-based option, you are making a choice to cause less suffering in the world. Good luck on your journey!

The one thing I refused to miss was my absolute LUCK at going back to college as an adult and finding out that she was giving a small presentation to a group at the college. I managed to get 2 tickets and a great friend of mine and I went to see her. A highlight of my life and I still have the pamphlets and a book and other things from that memorable occasion. Please stop complimenting female professionals on their looks. You don't do that to male professionals! As a female professor, I have seen so many times people compliment female professionals on their accomplishments and then someone added "and she looks pretty" that is like a slap in the face. How does look even matter when you are a professor??

@@rhondah1587 Colbert served her a glass of Weller 12. Aaron served you a glass of humility. Your greatest gift in life isn't to live to point out what you perceive as flaws in others but to turn them into strengths within yourself. Failing to do that, you could just as easily not interject yourself where no one asks for it.

@@Maya-bu2rf I feel you. I lost my beloved dog a year after I lost my mother (who passed 3 years after my stepfather). It felt (still does) like the universe had become a cold, empty, and lonely place. I wish I had the power to change things and give you more years with your dog, but all I can offer is my solidarity and understanding, from one flawed human being to another. I wish you well, my friend. ❤

@@Maya-bu2rf I agree with Dr. Goodall 100%. Dogs provide pure unconditional love that we often take for granted. I lost my wife of 33 years in June. In July I had to euthanize one of my dogs due to cancer. My other dog is, like yours, is 15 years old and I don't know if I could have gotten through this time without him. Not now indeed.

@@jaekae13Thanks. It really is hard. I usually have at least two dogs. This is the first time in 29 years that I have been down to one dog. He never was left alone until the last dog died five weeks ago because he was one of four dogs. His litter mate died in March a few days before their 15th birthday. Then another died in August. My fault for having three the same age.....poor planning.
