Ice T is the first to do it… he was well known in the streets. But I agree. Snoop Dogg also. DJ Quik. Ice Cube also. All were active gang members who had street reputations from junior high on up until some years after they got into the music business and became successful legends in it. And who’s names, today, could still fill up a stadium. Kendrick Lamar, another one. But he’s young. We’ll see if he’s around in 20 years and can still fill up a stadium. Shout out to 50cent though.
