Neil has the right scientific attitude to those purported alien “mummies”: now that we have actual physical artifacts, let’s submit them to independent examination and analysis, just like with the Moon rocks. Because there’s no better way to prove your point, if it’s right-or disprove it, if it’s wrong.

Only problem with this topic is we have high up people in US government that haven’t wanted this information to get out for many years. So yes let’s let scientists from all over the world research whatever we have for biologics and let them speak freely about the findings. I don’t believe any of that has been a past practice on this topic.

He didn't really say no though. He suggested that he doubts it given the similarities they show humans and that basically all phenomena eventually are explainable. He just kept getting stopped every time he said now let's see the labs confirm or deny the findings. Science is like that. It's not ever really yes or no. It's series of questions, some simple yes and no questions, but ultimately science is at its best when it's doing everything it can to falsify a claim, because when you've tried all that you can think of to show something is false and you've failed spectacularly, you can be reasonably confident what you're left with is a fact, but deep down we all know it's one fancy interaction from unraveling entirely.

@L._Titus
@L._Titus Жыл бұрын
@@groovyone5492Maybe, maybe not…I think you’re assuming that there’s some physical form of a car that works better than any other form. However, there have been cars through history with the engine in the back (VW Beetle), the door in the back (bubble cars), doors that open up like wings (Delorean), etc. and that’s not even getting into trucks, buses, rickshaws…. Maybe one group of cars would look like trolleys or trains and the other group would be like compact “smart” cars. Granted, aliens could undergo convergent evolution to a humanoid shape if they were under similar evolutionary pressures as early hominids. However, we don’t know if only humanoids are capable of evolving a level of intelligence sufficient to achieve complex technology, as we only have a sample size of one. There’s no good reason to believe space-going aliens couldn’t look like cephalopods, insects, motile plants, slime molds, or even stranger things like liquid or gaseous life forms.

Data from machines is worth sweet FA with a human judging at the line.

Not fake necessarily but an old man-made offering or idol made with human bones/remains. I don’t see why that’s not everyone’s first logical thought 😅 Plenty of tribal cultures have used human bones to make effigies, sometimes even shrinking the human body or rearranging it to represent something divine. For all we know the people of Mexico could have met some people from Asia a millennium ago thanks to some crazy tide phenomenon or simple travel by boat, and this was their unknowingly “racist” representation of someone Asian (to explain the eyes). Greeks who worshipped Gaia have made small and grotesque representations of her that also looked like caricatures of an obese woman. It could be simple art, just grotesque. Who knows.

Well you can say "From the informations we have, one hypothesis it might be... " it is actually essential in the scientific method to guide research. Right? You can't be mad at someone exposing a hypothesis on a unknown phenomenon.

Some mummified Egyptian mummies have their nose intact because they were preserved by the mummification process, most animals on earth have eyes, ears, a nose, a mouth and some type of digits on their feet or hands, with the obvious exceptions. So whatever those purported alien mummies are, they deserve more testing by an international team of scientists.
@vanivari359
@vanivari359 Жыл бұрын
actually "most animals" do not look at all like humans. Even if you ignore viruses and bacteria, insects are the most and they do not look at all like humans. And you can draw a evolutionary line from our eyes to basically all eyes. The fact, that 99 % of lifeforms on our planet do not look at all like a human, but those aliens from countless lightyears away look like a cheap Hollywood mask from a 1950s sci-fi movie, is pretty strange. Yes, a cat has eyes, ears, a nose and some type of digits, but it does not look at all humanoid, even on bone level. Sure, investigate. But for some reason, that stuff is never accessible.

@pedterson Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it feels like a shtick. He always seems to respond to questions by talking very excitedly about things that are tangential to the actual topic, with this general attitude of being above it all, while providing nothing of substance. I mean, of course the Mexican alien mummies are bogus, but not because they're humanoid looking (Why wouldn't they? 2 eyes and 2 ears for the stereo experience. Bipedalism likely being a corollary or prerequisite of higher intelligence.) or because there shouldn't be a bone under the nose... but because they're a bunch of bones from other animals welded together with no rhyme or reason. PS: But I do appreciate him as a science communicator for kids. His enthusiasm is contagious.
@Cl0udgard3n
@Cl0udgard3n Жыл бұрын
@@pedterson Great summation of his schtick, he talks loudly and often feel like he's pulling any slightly related topic out of his arse. I saw the video of scientists finding the amalgamation of bones from 2021 or thereabouts, but since then Mexican scientists are saying it's a complete skeleton with no signs of tampering? While I'm on the subject , I always thought Dave Grusch's Use of the term "biologics" was a bit weird, (he could have said many other more standard things). If you look up what biologics actually are , they're a type of medication/vaccine used to weaken the immune and respiratory systems... which seems highly suspect to me 🤔
@pedterson
@pedterson Жыл бұрын
@@Cl0udgard3n Yeah, Grusch is an enormous BSer, unfortunately. He throws around words and concepts he has absolutely no understanding of, and somehow people still take him seriously, because he had a nice suit on during the hearing. When he started sputtering on about the "holographic principle"... good god. And the Mexican ufologist found this one Dr. dude "confirming" the bodies to be real, but they were never subject to tests of independent scientists. The only thing they could look at is the X-rays and it's just silly: one thigh is a femur upside down, the other thigh is a tibia, in most places there are no joints connecting the bones correctly, the fingers are just made of randomly assembled digital bones, and the head is likely part of a lama head facing the wrong way. It's an elaborate art piece. There's so much stuff coming out lately that's genuinely fascinating (the tic tac videos and all that), and I really wished we had something substantial in our hands, but these fellas aren't the real McCoy.
