Science is sadly mostly politics, when a scientist or a group of scientists reputations are at stake they will do just about anything to keep that information from being studied. Regardless of if it's even true or not, a lot of them actively lobby against research on our own solar system.

Oh man I remember loving the hunt for planet X as a little kid in the 80s. I honestly didn't realize until this video that Neptune's orbit *never had* any deviations from the math. The inconsistencies were dismissed as bad data in my junior year in high school. Until 10 minutes ago I thought the Kuiper Belt caused Neptune to deviate. You learn something new every day. 🥰

Back when I was young, and Pluto still had planet status, I always thought that another reason the "Planet X" name stuck was because it would be the tenth planet, and X was the Roman numeral for ten. Just one more reason I wish NDT hadn't put out a hit on the planet named after Hades.

I thought the same thing. (Note: The rest of this comment verges on fan fiction) Sometime after the release of "Star Trek:Nemesis", I realized that the next Star Trek film would be the tenth. Since Pluto was still a planet and I'd hear of "Planet X" in sci-fi and speculation my whole life, I thought the next film should be called "Star Trek: X". My idea for the plot was that a long unknown tenth planet in the sol system was somehow on a collision course with Mars colony.

IMHO, the worst thing about Pluto's demotion is "Planet X" USED to work on two levels: "X" for Roman numeral 10, and "X" for "unknown variable." But it's out the window now. I have the same misgivings about the English language choosing "corn" over "maize": every fall, we could scare the kiddies with the thought of getting lost in a "maize maze!" Iv heard somewhere that, other than Nibiru, the planet has been referred to as Marduk. Its the name of one of Enki's sons who became a new ruler of the annunaki.

Mr. Tyson, When you have a few minutes, please explain the origin of our solar system including where all those heavier-than-iron elements came from. Such an explanation should also include the reason for the gas giants and the distribution of the planets.

Neil reached for his astronomical kitchen knife, and slipped it, handle wrapped in his fist, behind his back. Almost cheerfully he queried, "So... Pluto..." he cleared his throat, "You cleared your orbit lately?"

On March 23, 1966 Planet X left the solar system , and it was at night so nobody saw it . Then they sent planet Y to replace it . But if you look carefully at the photos , you can see the mountains look quite different , even though the continents were made to be similar.
