The bot-banks are located overseas. They are paid for by PACs and therefore have a level of protection against election interference charges. I'd like to see more scrutiny of how PACs are allowed to spend their money, and the ability to track how these bot-banks are being used. Edit: I call them bot-banks, but they are semi-automated click farms that have been repurposed because they now get much more money for the disinformation dissemination than they do just clicking for likes on Insta. They are literally just people in front of multiple online devices, like phones or tablets. And by evidenced by their content, some are easy to spot because of their rudimentary knowledge of English.
