Regina Spector is a great singer, who has a devoted crowd of fans. This song sounds way more mature than some of her early ones; clearly being a Mom brings her music to another level. Her voice range is amazing; the composition of the songs allows her to present all of it whenever and wherever she wants. Very, very talented musician, and from what we see in the public - a great person, too!

The things that give you chills and a sudden secular or ecumenical sting of faith (all the pretenses dropped, all the feelings still intact) later than ever, later than the middle of the night, with insomnia twilit in this cool desert air, in a desert that got its first real rain of the season earlier in the day. With "stay" repeated like a mantra in a song I looped three more times.

We could all use Regina's voice right now, her sensitive and playful nature taps into so much of what is pure about us humans- and lately we've been trending away from that. I'm happy for her and her husband on their family- I look forward to many more beautiful songs and of growing alongside, collectively, with all of you- and Regina reminds me of that.

Well, tell me what about Regina Spektor. How I was looking forward to seeing her singing live once more, thank God for that. She truly is the greatest talent I've ever seen, and what an honor to hear her pour out all her gift in the form of music. @@DarkSnP I understand what you're saying and it is kind of sad. However you wouldn't ask someone who eats fast food every day what restaurants are best to eat at. Some people have taste and others don't. In my experience most people who's music taste i respect usually has either heard of her or likes her after being introduced. Her semi classical style also isn't for everyone.
@DarkSnP
@DarkSnP 2 жыл бұрын
@@uhoh7541 This i could definitely accept I know of only one m8 that goes very out of way to find music (still a different genre I'm almost sure he wouldn't know who Regina is) so with me making it a point to find new music and others not could very well also be the issue. As in some I know are just given music from radio I suppose that means they are just into that not this.
