She has a British RP (Received Pronunciation) accent. It's a British accent that is mostly used by people in upper class parts of London, actors/actresses, politicians, and diplomats. Although it's most commonly taught to non-native speakers, only around 5% of the British population are native RP speakers.

She's always been very friendly, lovely and fun in interviews but she seems so much more confident and feisty almost now too. I've adored her for years and years and I was crushed when all "Boys and girls" tickets were sold out :( I wish I could have seen her in London

I just want to say I saw Girls & Boys on my own a few weeks ago on a trip to New York, and after it was over I wandered out of the theater in a daze and sort of walked in circles for about a half an hour. That show will change you. Please go see it. Also, people were definitely snapping and it was... a whole thing.

Can't wait to see her and Jake Gyllenhaal in Paul Dano's first movie as a director, Wildlife. Easily one of my most anticipated film of the year. :) Loved the book as well.

That storyline could easily have been a trilogy of movies it was so good. It was a duo (or was it a trio) of separate episodes though, so they did at least squeeze more out of it.

Very awesome and classy lady. Never let me go is one of my favorite movies, it stays with you for a long time. But I enjoy watching Carey Mulligan in everything.

"Knackered" comes from the practice of knackering injured, old, or retired horses. Stripping the flesh, boiling the bones for glue etc. The "knackers" yard also.
