As the fight starts, I saw the much reach difference in height arms and legs, then I wondered if they are even in same weight class ! 1st round only had a grappling fight, padmi showed courage and heart to escape the armbar 2 times. It was very evident that Northcutt is very agile and atheletic. Then it came to kick boxing, no further attempts from Northcutt of ground fight and submissions. Northcutt looked very good and confident. I then came to know from commentator that she is world karate champion and 36 times mma champion.. amazing ! Padmi couldn't get inside, what happened to old school bobbing and weaving..! But it was difficult to get inside against constant jabs and hooks from world champion... And reach disadvantage turned out to be too much for Padmi. Northcutt could have attempted for a KO but she decided on winning it easily as it was coming and not to get caught by a lucky punch from Padmi. Padmi actually might have hoped for an lucky punch or two as nothing else was working.
