I'm in a school library in southern Ca and I DEPEND on your videos when it's time to order new books and book talk books I haven't read. Thank you so much for what you do. Do students come into your class loving to read? If not, how do you encourage the love of reading? It has become extremely difficult to get my middle school (6-8) students interested in all the good books available in our library. What advice would you give to teachers on how to incorporate reading into their lesson plans? Could you make a video that I could share with the teachers about how to cultivate the love of reading and give librarians tips on what we can do as well?

I'm in a school library in the north-west suburbs of chicago. The 5th graders are obsessed with both The Lighting Thief and Small Spaces. All copies struggle to stay on the shelf for even a day.

For the longest time, my 10 year old son's favorite series has been The Wild Robot. He's read all 3 books. He just finished reading "The Miscalculations of Lightening Girl" and he loved it a lot more than I expected. He said it was an easy 5 stars and said it's maybe even better than The Wild Robot, which I was really surprised to hear him say that.

I love the videos! I’m a 5th-grade teacher in Pennsylvania. Our kids love Alan Gratz, Jarret Lerner, and Dav Pilkey, of course. And we’ve had a lot of kids reading local authors like Lauren Magaziner's “Case Closed” series, GM Savage “Jack Mathias” (Goonies vibes), and of course, our local legend, Jerry Spinelli’s Dead Wednesday, Maniac McGee, and Star Girl, just to name a few!
