Harrison's are made by Colchester. Colchester are the first mass produced toolroom lathes. Perhaps the best one was the Chipmaster, no longer produced. The headstock on the Colchester is as good as, if not better than many much expensive machines.

Went through the whole video … no mention of the Triumph model number. Looking at buying machines but Colchester range v confusing and this video hasn’t helped . Is this the VS2500 ?

"In stock now". Then next sentence "Delivery in 4 to 6 weeks, maybe sooner if you twist our arms". If it's in stock, why not delivery tomorrow. Field Transport are only just around the corner, they have Hiab trucks.

Well, they will be other machines being processed, inspected, having any extras/special requirements fitted (which happens on most orders), going through the factory, which were ahead of any new orders in the queue then service engineers need to be arranged to come commission it etc. So yes, we may have it there in the warehouse, but it's not a matter of just sending it out! Now if your order was a basic machine with no additional requirements, then that may be quicker - but it would be foolish of us to say a week delivery as standard, when many factors would make that impossible. Hope that clarifies things for you.

Your point being? All these types of video from all the different manufacturers are ads - no one will buy them if nobody knows about them and pretty sure the long term goal of any business (besides profit) is to stay in business?
