Controlling your overwintering temps…..perfect. You control your schedule. I love it.

Glad you mentioned reality of cleaning out dead outs etc! So important to keep reality in our minds!! Nearly finished mine , another few to do!! Wow that’s cold, we’re back up to stupid temps, 12 degrees again today!! 🙌🐝🧑🌾

LOL I'd suggested those air tubes many years ago! Same kind of thing used in greenhouses to distribute "heat" instead of cold air! Glad things are working out and the bees are being kept cool.

Glad to see you have the wind sock in place. That in combination with the emergency AC should help keep the girls healthy going into spring. Really interested in seeing the numbers coming out of the shed vs what went in vs the added cost of the AC.

-25 Celsius equal to -13 so yup, still darned cold. But at 25, we be having a nice warm shorts and Ts kinda day.

I was freezing at 40F yesterday. 😂 The older I get, the less I can tolerate the cold.

When all else fails do it the way “beekeeping in Canada” manual has been recommending for 40 years.
