@javigarcia51683 жыл бұрын
Great video Jeff!! Just to know, you should follow Flight Director always when engaged, after take-off with SRS mode engaged, FD lead you to mantain speed V2 + 10 or 20 (15-18 degrees pitch up) until reduction/acceleration altitude, where thrust levers are moved back to climb and CLIMB mode engaged, at this point the aircraft looks for climb speed 250kt (5-10 degrees pitch up), movimg the FD down, and with that you can clean the flaps. Just remember to always follow FD, and if you are not using them, switch them both off as Airbus recommends. Nice work!

man i'm coming over from flying fighter jets in DCS World and had no idea the startup for a civil airliner was so elaborate. and granted, an Airbus generally doesn't need to hurry to scramble to intercept incoming Boeings or something, but i'm used to basically just like Battery→APU→Engines→GPS→Combat Systems→YEEHAW in about 5 minutes, so it's awesome to see all these unfamiliar systems stir to life and start to merge together. it really makes me appreciate why it takes some time to get going when you fly somewhere and the coordinated dance of all the workers who make it possible
@harshithpvs6764 жыл бұрын
Jeff, when you're descending and your VNAV is on dot/managed mode, on the PFD, it will display the altitude it has to level off at in purple, at various waypoints. You might wanna manage your altitude with the managed mode off, so that the V/S doesn't keep resetting at waypoints where it wants to level off. Great video!

I'm sure someone's answered this already but the reason why the flight director was acting the way it was for you it's because you had the airspeed selected as managed, and so without any further input/changes on the MCDU, it will accelerate first to the managed climb speed then resume the climb upon reaching that speed.

@BM-bi7rg4 жыл бұрын
Well it actually reflects droplets which can be found in clouds, and does not necessarily mean storm. However the more developed the reflected image is the larger the droplets are the more severe weather should be expected like CB’s with turbulence/thunderstorm and hailstones
