Cold bluing the barrel and magazine of my winchester 94. I explain the use of a combination of bluing agents and how it improves the quality qne qppearance of the bluing process

Try warming what you are bluing with a heat gun just on low and you will be surprised how much it looks like hot blue.

I own a post 64 also thanks for the information. My receiver had a few rust specs and removed the rust with a pre 82 penny since it’s all copper and put oil on the spots and layed the penny flat and rubbed it slow with a little pressure and it removed all the rust.

Iv heard alot of folks say you have to wipe the bluing compound off with water or alchahol after every process to prevent future rusting. Is that correct or no?
