Wonderful video terry--and I never knew that tip about the drill--fast speed than approach metal then come off the foot pedal-- makes sense and a great tip for beginning metalsmith who really love to overheat drill bits.

Hi Deby, thank you for subscribing! The flex shaft does not connect to a drill press, but you can insert a drill into the chuck and use it like a drill press!

Did you modify the tweezers yourself to have the loop in one side?

+Monica Leone Yes, we do modify the tweezers, and with this modification, they work great for all sorts of applications, from crimp beads to rivets to ear posts. Here is a short "how to" to modify your tweezers. Cool Tools Tweezer, TWZ-101 works well for this: Use a flat nose(PLR-301) and round nose pliers (PLR-506) to re- shape ends to form a crimp bead or rivet "handler". Step 1. Snip off 1/16" on each end of the tweezers. File smooth. Step 2. On one side at about 1/4 of an inch from the end, make a 90 degree bend outward with flat nose pliers. Step 3. Finish making the loop by rolling the end of the bent-out side of the tweezers with the middle of a round nose pliers back to the center to meet with the straight side of the tweezers. This will provide you with a handy, custom made tool that you will find yourself using over and over again, for all sorts of uses and applications!
