no idea how 1 person can handle calculating business expense & income, customers booking & queries, order & collect parts, working in rain & snow & wind, and so many expensive diag tool and power tools, not to mention you film and edit videos. Just out of my mind.

A mobile mechanic is very demanding as you're working outside in all weather conditions without a ramp, crawling around on your hands and knees and laying on your back, how many old mobile mechanics do you see?
@carvanplace26 күн бұрын
I was a self employed sparky like you. 7 days a week...even on holiday I was getting calls.. at mynoeak had 3 vans and 6 guys working for me. Roll on 10 years later and messy divorce, ex took nearly everything with her new man Now I work for a housing association and do my passion of repairing cars from auction as part time hobby/job.👍👍🙏❤

Great video, nice to know it’s not just me that things go wrong for . Wrong parts is a regular thing these days, but I try to look at it that the person behind the counter is only using the info they have to hand so not there fault either. Keep up the good work and stay warm, I’ve got several battery packs for my heated body warmer and make sure they all charged ready for those cold days.

Great channel & content mate. Always enjoy watching. The strange thing is I've been watching your vids for ages, just noticed I wasn't subbed (typical me!) 😂 tbh I think it's first time I've even commented. Anyways as you dabble in car dealing a bit you should drop Shifting Metal or Car Dealer Pro here on YT a message & get on their podcast about the highs & lows of the motor trade. Good bit of networking & I'm sure the viewers would love to hear about your experience as both a car dealer & a mobile mechanic. 👍

I do love watching these videos. I mostly work on my own cars but yes the last week has been terrible for weather but you throw on a few layers of clothing and you just get to it. And yes, I’ve had my fair show issues with parts. Be mindful of buying eBay “new” parts like brake calipers as the returns process can be sooooo frustrating! If time allows a rebuild kit just gives you peace of mind there will be no come backs
@kerbsidemobilemechanic25 күн бұрын
I very very rarely get parts from eBay for that reason
@P963_2125 күн бұрын
Cold weather bad enough at home mate working on a laptop still got to put extra layers on to avoid heating on all day up full. But working outside no siree so kudos. Could you in the winter switch to a garage mechanic where people can come to you except for total breakdowns?
@kerbsidemobilemechanic25 күн бұрын
I sometimes wish I had a office job in the winter but then I just work a little quicker 😅 the garage is a little bit out of the way, I do bring some work there though if it’s too wet and windy, the cold I just get on with it👍🏼
