Yes it takes me to a lot of places in my life. I lived 30 miles from the school I went to. And there wasn’t a town for about 30 miles either way Out in the woods. My sister got addicted to drugs and left the house when she was 16. My mom and dad divorced when I was 2. My dad worked nights. By the time I got home from school he was at work and when I woke up for school he was asleep. I remember my childhood feeling so isolated… listening to this in my old farmhouse. Who else is still bumping this song in 2020?
@1stMarDiv43414 жыл бұрын
Random comment, but I remember painting my bedroom in high school while blasting 13 Ways to Bleed Onstage, my first Cold album. Nearly 20 years later and their songs are still a regular part of my workout music rotation (gotta give a shout-out to Change the World, that song pumps me up every time).

One of the most underrated bands ever, what a shame. Their music is amazing. I wish artists / bands like this one would get more exposure.

This band is one that has stuck with me for the better part of 20 years. The powerful lyrics have expressed my pain that I carry inside in a way that I never could express. To listen to Cold is to soothe the pain and allow it to come out in a beautiful way. I’ll always be a Cold fan even after I pass over into the great beyond.

[Lyrics] Gone away Do you pray in the night Can you appreciate the winds And I would kill I would fight I need you close to sing It's the same beginning Gone away It's the same old, same old song Gone away And It's my whole life in words And I can't breathe when you cry But I'll be there to hold you tight And I would kill I would fight To keep you close I keep singing the same way I won't live if you die If I can feel you in the winds And this is me, it's my life I need you close to sing It's the same beginning Gone away It's the same old, same old song Gone away And it's my whole life in words Gone away It's the same old, same old song Gone away And it's my whole life And I can't say And I don't know I'll fall I'll go And I can't say And I don't know I'll fall I'll go Gone away It's the same old, same old song Gone away And it's my whole life in words Gone away It's the same old, same old song Gone away And it's my whole life

I lived and grew up across the bridge from this theater, and the girl in the red 'I bite' shirt featured many times 😂 was one of my teenaged friends. Good memories. Before things got crazy.

Laredo Sports Extra nostalgia, I understand what you mean. I'm 33, currently working in my career. I thought at this point that in my life is be past all the stuff from my past. I find myself rushing home some days to live in the past. and KZbin perpetuates the shit out of it. I constantly think, where the hell is everybody? where is everybody who defined that time. what are we doing. lol. you hate nostalgia because it brings back all these feelings in a chain reaction that is so fast you don't even notice it. one feeling and what your watching triggers another then another.

This hits me so hard.Sooter is my hero.He is one of the lyricist and performer who you can listen to to relieve the depression when it settles on us all and he is already there and able to put our anxiety in words and music to help each one of us be able to breath again.

"K.I.D.S" the movie tribute, too Justin Pierce & Harold Hunter, brought me here sorry I'm late everybody!!!..I just have too say what a Sad & Beautiful Song. As a skater in High school 1998- 2002 this song is the closest thing to a time machine back befor everything has "Gone Away" now later in life I get the meaning to this now if your still young you will understand as I do now about life!!!....
