One of the last bands I would have expected to wind up on Napalm Records, a majority death/black metal label. Kudos to you NPR for expanding your horizons. You couldn’t have picked a better band to add to the roster. I love COLD! 🤘

they have a bunch of symphonic metal and power metal bands as well.
@lucklessstepdad98934 жыл бұрын
Yes indeed they have acquired many great metal bands over the years of a good array of heavier genres. My comment was reflective more on the fact they started as a primarily death and black metal label. Cold was always a little more from the Numetal school in the early days and was a surprise to me to see them on this specific label.
@lucklessstepdad98934 жыл бұрын
Don’t get me wrong, I think it was a great deal. Any label worth their salt should expand their roster horizons tbh. Cold are more than worthy as they Rock and are very talented musicians and songwriters! NPR & Cold! Good stuff there for sure 👌

🥲 once I said to myself just to help that my mom died because her love was so strong she couldn't give it to everyone all at once unless God were to take her, my Mother died too in year 2002 it was my car accident, I was the driver and this band kept me alive those years, loosing a Mother is truly a different kind of pain especially when you have had years with her, I am now 36 and just lost my Father and again this singer Scooter Ward always, always, sings in my heart.

The way I view it, every word a person speaks, every loving phrase and every lie, is still gently ringing through the air and the breath they used to speak has brought someone or something else life for one more glowing moment. Every time someone repeats a memory of them or speaks kindly of them, that adds another echo. So it's not that the person is gone, there is a vacuum but really it just breathed out and impacted the world in so many wonderful ways that I have a hard time feeling sadness over pride and joy in what that person did.

This song and music video is that left hook that you didn't see coming and it knocked you out-cold! Only machines won't feel anything seeing and hearing this.

I lost my younger brother last Friday, he was only 27. This song is helping me through it, just like Cold has helped me through other tragedies in my life. Thank you guys for your music it helps all of us through the rough parts of life.

I know Matt! Many moons ago I drummed in Sense of Purpose & did vocals, as he did lead vocals! He always talked up Cold, & Scooter Ward especially! What an honor to have this dedicated to him, & such an incredible performance by you guys! This is epic! I'm low-key ashamed of myself to take 4 years to catch that! Also, I knew his dad. He wasn't a big fan of mine admittedly, but he was a good man anyway! RIP Mr. Kizer🙏, & if you see this, hi Matt🐱

Black Sunday is one of my Cold all time favorites ever since my grandmother was buried on a Sunday. Now, this song hits me hard again like so many of the Cold songs ever did. Silence can be painful when you're used to the noise of a loved one...😢

This is why music has a voice. It speaks to so many in so many circumstances globally across decades. Thanks. It explained it all for me using my favorite artistic medium of music that can reach your heart. Such a responsibly for music artists but Cold takes this on and nails it.

I’ll stand up to god like I’m Superman to keep you close to me…… wow just incredible lyrics. This song totally captures the real pain that someone goes through when they lose someone that they love, I know…

Anyone who dislikes this video/song is a fool. Cold is super underrated and they touch on many subjects in their songs that WILL bring a tear to your eye because you feel the pain, the anger, the happiness, the sorrow in their lyrics. And Scooter delivers those emotions in his vocals. I will ALWAYS love this band. Their songs have helped me through break ups and heartache. Bravo for this song and video. It touched me. I love this song!!!!

I've never met anyone like Scooter before. The music he writes, how he sings, every feeling/emotion comes through. His concerts are exactly the same way. That is why 20 years later, we still sing along to every song like it is the first time we have heard the song. I'm so glad they are back! In a world of uncertainty and sadness, his band, his lyrics bring us comfort.

When this song was released my best friend heard it first and sent it to me because she said it reminded her of my brother I lost and myself. The song has made me cry before, but this video.... I can't even describe it... at first just a tear and sobbing by the end. The emotions in his voice are indescribable. Haunting video

Here because of scooter's amazing voice in far away from breaking benjamin. I see his voice here is just as powerful this song carries a lot with it of the burden of losing someone special and I like that the songs focus is on that person that livened up your day by just being who they were. This is honestly very touching to me I love this song and am ready to listen to more of what this band offers!
