I really like the finished soap. I know it's not what you originally planned, but I think it looks just like a big pile of fall leaves. And the hedgehogs playing in the leaves on top are so cute! As Bob Ross would say, not a mistake -- a happy accident!

AW, thanks a lot Tammy, I must admit I was scratching my head for quite a while wondering why I was slicing through embeds when I had lined them up so carefully, then I realised that I just stayed with the measurements from my other plaid soap. I even thought about seeing if I could get the slices to stick back together and then reslice, well for about a minute until I worked out what a complete nightmare that would be.

Oh, there was a roller coaster of a video! I was very excited at the possibility of another gingham soap, I think they're very pretty and I love the autumnal colours. I'm still loving the previous video you shared with us. Then there was the ominous foreshadowing. Not sure I have been that anxious about someone else decisions in quite a while. Honestly, I think I went a little green in the gills... Although not as green as your final soap reveal - which was 🎉 adorable. Love the idea of hedgehogs snuggling in piles of damp autumn leaves! (edit: hedgehogs were smuggling... Apparently)

Thanks so much Johanna, yes I was a bit frustrated and I couldn't understand after I had been so careful putting the little leaves in the embeds to make sure they were in the right place, then it dawned on me I'd used the size for the embeds from one of the other plaid soaps, rats. I'm so pleased you like them, the little hedgehog soes make me smile.

I can’t imagine I actually messing up a soap. They r absolutely beautiful. I wish I had that kind of artistry. I’m dyslexic and my brain just doesn’t work that way. You might initially view this as a failure but I view it as a priceless teaching experience. I personally learn and retain more valuable knowledge from an occasional oops. Channels that never share an oops are phony therefore difficult for me to watch. Thank you for 'keeping it real!'. Cute hedgehogs were a total bonus.

No offence to your original design, but I like the final product more.
