Oh they turned out so pretty 😍 It would be fun to do a Japanese version in pinks and pastels with the bridge. There is a thing we have here in the states called "Paint Nite" or "Sip n Paint" where the customers sign up for a simple guided painting session that usually takes place at a restaurant or bar. Your soap reminds me of one of those paintings. By the way I figured out my master batch oils issue. I bought an electric wax melter that has a thermostat and a spout. So now all I have to do is flip it on and let the oils melt right in the machine and dispense what I need.

Ooh yes I can imagine a paint night with a soap like this. The masterbatch pot sounds fantastic

I remembered as I was driving home from work that it was Friday and Lisa would be waiting for me in my subscriptions box when I got home 🥳 she never disappoints! All that river needs is a little ducky paddling through it ☺️ Lisa, might you ever consider doing a video showcasing the “Clyde slide”? From the pictures I’ve seen on google, the results vary so wildly I wouldn’t have known they were all the same pour if they weren’t labeled. Some look like a kiss pour, some look like any old in the pot swirl... I just thought that was interesting and could make a fun and informative video someday 🤓
@IDreamInSoap3 жыл бұрын
AW, that's lovely, I'm so thrilled that you look forward to my videos as yes a duck would have been perfect (I was trying not to extrude anything for this soap - but now I want a duck :-) ) Ooh the Clyde slide, I think a lot of people just don't actually stick to the actual method, they tend to do all sorts of pours into the pot and then mould and call it a Clyde slide, but I may have a closer look and give one a go

I do always try to do something new and come up with something different and to be honest that can be the hardest bit. Right at this moment it's early Saturday morning and I'm trying to come up with an idea for a soap, sometimes I have loads of ideas, sometimes, not so man :-)

I am constantly amazed by your artistic talent and spacial reasoning. I know you put pictures on the inside, but still... how you know the soap and how to place it is more awareness than the picture guide. I hope this made sense.

Hi Lisa! Another beautiful bar of soap. I know you probably have a video for this but I would like to be able to make exactly the amount of soap I need in each color but I am not sure how to do the math! Lol. Do you already have a video talking about how to make the correct amount of soap needed for each color you will be using in your soap or something close to the amount needed for each color used? Also, those sleeves that you use are so cool looking. What are they called? Thanks for all the videos you make. I really enjoy watching them so much. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💚

Lisa, I know that you have to use a certain amount of specific colors in your assessments because of the laws, but what about TD? (& the charcoal too, even though it's not in this soup) Is that not considered another color? You usually just add it depending on how much you need.
@mkapadia9173 жыл бұрын
And of course, as always, such a glorious and beautiful soap! I've still not opened my Continents collection. I keep looking at them through the beautiful box because they are so amazing. They are just so pretty and they smell so absolutely amazing! I'ven't opened any of the ones that I got recently! I keep smelling them and staring at them because they're beautiful works of art! I'm using some of my older soaps. I have the surf's up soap out of the wrapper, but I can't make myself use it!! That break thru wave design is so wonderfully executed! I'm enjoying the salt bars from earlier last year and the square soap called bermuda triangle. I have to say that I really prefer the salt bars for showering! 🤣😊

HI Mansi, we have to use the exact amount of every single item in the recipe we've had assessed, so that includes every oil, mica, colourant etc, we're not allowed to change a thing. If I have a soap that I'm making using a recipe that's already assessed. I weight every single thing out and that's why sometimes I don't get to have the exact colours I want. If you ever see me using colours as I need them, that's because I am weighing them all as I go and then I will get that soap cosmetically assessed after it's been made.

I know you've talked about it in another video, but I can't remember which one it was. I just want to know about the pictures you put inside of your mold as a guide. Do you put tape over the images to stop the soap from warping them?
@MommaDrake022 жыл бұрын
There most certainly are blue rivers, or at least ones that look deep blue. You should Google the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, USA. It's a stunning deep blue; I used to live near enough to visit it on occasion. Since moving to Mississippi, I miss deep blue rivers.
