Thank you so much Pamela. Yes, I was all excited about my new lense, I should have checked after the 1st part, but I didn't, rats. Yes, I had my F Stop (not really sure what that stands for) too low, so it was on 2, which means it lets in a lot of light but the depth of field is very shallow, so it focused on what was in front of it but blurred the rest. I did a test after I saw the video with the F stop set at 4.5 and it was perfect, so here's to a better 'shoot' next week.

I love how crazy talented you are. I don’t always comment but a family member needed me and had to wake me up (it’s about 5:30am) and I’m not a morning person. The first lot was easy as it's only 2/3 colours to do countries flags, just design of diagonals on St Andrews and St Patrick's was the hardest part. I'm getting there. Lisa, you never fail to amaze me. Your art is just so inspiring. I have been planning a landscape soap, but mine pales in comparison. I love how to translate art into soap...or should I say turn your art into soap. You always have just the right degree of dribbles and stripes and pours to recreate a photo or painting. I love watching you create!
