I really wanted a mk 3, when I got it it didn't make it into the pocket often. Nothing wrong with it, just wasn't getting carried. I wanted the full ti ad10 as soon as I knew it existed

@@chucknunfaceI feel you, my MK3 doesn’t get much pocket time either even though I think it’s a very well built knife. I’ve always wanted an AD10 ever since I got my AD15. Had no idea Cold Steel sold direct but have since signed up for their emails

I snagged one at Blade Show. I had almost forgotten about them becoming available there As soon as I put one in hand I knew I had to buy it. Not too many production knives do that for me these days Congrats and hope it serves you well

Demko has gone on record that an MG version of the AD19 is in the early stages of production. Stay tuned they are coming.

I have the raw ti version, and love it. The black coated version wasn't really my thing, but I had one in my cart just because there were less of them made, and I already have 3 of the s35vn G10 models. Last minute, however, right before I pulled the trigger, I checked Midway and found the raw ti version for 250...For that price I could get two! But I only bought one... because I also bought a San Mai Trail Master, and a 3v Recon Scout, which rounded out my collection a bit...Its a month later though, and there are still a few left...hmmm? 😂

When you add up what you get for what it would take to make a full ti ad10 aftermarket, and favor in that you're getting 3v (which I consider an upgrade to s35), the price is fair. You have to like the platform first though

I like that more than the MK3, Taiwan or not. Don’t know if I would personally buy either, but that was a solid trade imo.

I have the raw titanium, which they made more of, I think 1000. The black ti they made 500 i believe, but I love them.

1000 raw Ti and 200 coated Ti. I have coated #127 and came with a small scratch onnthe blade and a mark on the handle. Think the coating is PVD but Cold Steel info says PVC. Wish it was DLC tho.

I thought that was a typo...never heard of pvc outside of plumbing

@chucknunface I'm was thinking that was a typo also. Looks and feels like the original coating that was on my Medford On Belay. The Medford had the PVD and this CS looks and feels the same. I have DLC on both my Kunwu knives and it just let's you see the material underneath. I have been talking with custom service over the defects on my knife. Maybe next time I talk with them I can get an answer on what the coating really is.

@chucknunface yeah I got the 250 only reason I bought it i love my ad10 but for 400 no but for 250 when it's limited and it's a collection piece and if by some chance I needed money I can turn around and sell it for the 400 it's worth doubt I will but still in my eyes it's an investment I have another ad10 to beat up this one is just for the why not factor

@jonenglert5809 heard that. I think 400 is fair value on these considering what you get. There's a mental block people have on spending that much on a Coldsteel, I think. 250 is a no-brainer
