Outstanding creative test showing the capabilities of the CS Gladius machete. The Gladius machete has effective upper strinking cutting abilities similar to the Barong machete. What people do not realize is these Sharp pointed machetes;Gladius,Barong,Smashet,Tanto, Katana etc. Are all very practical, effective in real world situations like putting down a Zombie Deer who walks in to your vehicle attacking it. I actually had such happen to me and had a CS Kukri in my car trunks emergency kit. After the Police Supervisor gave the authorization to put down the mangled animal the Kukri failed to do so. Reason being the Kukri does Not have a sharp point to thrust with and a connecting side blade as the Gladius or Barong does. I will have to test this CS Gladius machete. Meanwhile I bought another CS Barong machete which I know along with the Gladius would put down such Zombie Deer!

Great weapon. I bought one back in the day for like 23 bucks. Put a sharp little point on the end left most of the blade edge dull except for the very top maybe 3 in. Great thrusting weapon this thing is legit I love mine

At the end of the grip is a knob,therein is a hole. As a good advice,you should pull a string through it and put it around your wrist so then it is harder to lose your weapon during combat....if you use it therefor. It could be devastating if your opponent gets your weapon.

I still like my Kabar or my trail axe. 1055 is good steel. My blood says Viking and I do not have any Roman blood that I know of, so I do not need a gladdius. That sucker is sharp and a lot better than a machete that tends to flex when you use it.
