This is the only fixed blade knife that you can carry as EDC. Perfect size and so light weight. Best for slicing, cutting, self defence you name it. It easily fits on your jeans without getting any attention

I'm pretty sure it's a hollow grind. I have one now, and I don't think I would do any heavy chopping or batoning with it. It's a good piercer and slicer for sure.

Love the kobun I’ve also modded several and they look really cool I just wish that now that cold steel has traded hands and have been making some changes I’d like to see a steel upgrade maybe some d2 to keep it cheaper or cpm s35vn as a more premium option

My favorite fixed blade for EDC is the White River Backpacker. 3 # inch blade of S30V with a deep finger choil, weighs 2.45 ounces, 95.00.

Cold Steel is awesome and affordable,I have Kobun,FinBear and FinHawk. I am not advertising or anything I just like to know what’s your favourite knife and what do you folks carry on your person.. I use Mora,Buck 311 and SAK,or any knife I see around me…There are thousands of knives and I can’t say I have favourite one..Whatever you have on you,that’s your best friend,even butter knife,you can sharpen it on the stone if needed…

There you go. I've always said the best knives are the ones you carry. I have some favorites but I have a lot that gets shuffled in and out of my daily carry. And yeah cold steel makes some good ones and this is one. But again whenever works for you is what's good. Thanks

Really good looking knife. Surprised Cold Steel let it go out the door without a razor sharpe grind. Compound grinds you definitely need to be careful and take your time sharpening.

Is the handle hard plastic or soft rubber?

So it's rubber, but I wouldn't really call it soft rubber It's more like a medium too hard rubber. It feels pretty good in the hand. Thank you

Нож на самом деле очень хорош и красив,но практическое применение в быту его крайне сомнительно,как охотничьий и туристический тоже вызывает сомнение. Его место на полке в коллекции ИМХО.
