Noone buys old cold steels for mountains of gold to use them. That's not a metric to judge the new line of products that you wish to sell widely. 20cv, carbon fiber, titanium framelocks- that's what you have WeKnives for- and they will often be cheaper, too. That's the killer of the argument of "not a bad deal"- there are way better ones unfortunately. 20cv (m390) isn't a craze like it used to be several years ago. Cold steel folders spirit lies in pocket swords, both affordable ones like voyagers, or slightly more premium ones like talwars, holdouts, and inbetweens like rajah or espadas. CS arent gentlemen carry knives, they are working men knives and self defence tools.

It's out of Cold Steel's price range too 😂 . I really don't understand what they're trying to do. They think they belong in the titanium frame lock type of market after that market has more or less come and gone. It's the same thing with the titanium AD-10 and Magnacut Recon 1. They're missing their market. A few people will buy them to collect but that's it. Instead if they just made their current models in 3V with G10 at current prices people would buy it all like crazy. GSM doesn't understand their customers and they never have. And with MAP pricing they'll never drop in price. What a joke. GSM literally can't do anything right.

Based. Try out serrated talwar if you have a chance/can spare that money, thing feels like a chainsaw in hand. Alternatively try out Frenzy, its XL folder that's barely heavier than 4inch recon1(10grams or 1/3 of an ounce difference) . For me, frenzy is a EDC of choice because how slim and lightweight it is for such big knife.

This knife is frendly, for making frends out of your enemies! This knife is the reason your great children will follow you arround and cousines will listen every story you have to say! OMG, i think that i will take 2 at once, they are so good, one will be in my colection and other in my pocket! This is what i call evolution of Ti - lite 6 consciousness!!! This is premium peace! I have so many Cold Steels, but this one got me, my hart!!! Thank you, thank you for polite and respectfull presentation, that means you inspected a lot of dark sides in our nature, you understand what kind of castimers we are, some can get too exited, you know what i mean, cutting meat and all that torso stuff!!! Can you not do a budget version? I’ve seen there was cheaper versions or similar knives cheaper. I really hope you don’t discontinue more knives or only make it temporary as the Kris blades are beautiful. Also can you not allow us to buy parts from your knives? And I’ve seen people say your customer service isn’t the best. Can you not improve that? You have people boycotting you now.

Man I got so excited when I first saw this revealed months back, I've been loving mine. Oddly enough they forgot to mention in the video, but this is a re-release from the 'Cold Steel custom series' that came out ~20 years ago. I've been trying to buy an original for like 5+ years now, when I picked up a Hatamoto I found at a vendor mall and 1st learned of the Caledonian. The 20cv + DLC is also a nice upgrade, and though they're made in Taiwan & not Japan as the originals. It's clearly done in a high end facility, it feels like a $400 knife

I hope the titanium liner has a steel insert to engage with the tang of the blade, titanium gets grinded down faster than steel when it's interacting with the blade, and that would cause lock failure down the line. Matthew Culbertson spoke about it in his old Talwar vids.

This is a beautiful piece of functional art. Yes, $450 puts it in the realm of a grail knife, but it is now on that list. I have the San Mai Master Tanto that, at the time, I also could not afford. I got myself on the pre-order list and I still have it, one of my favorites (although I am on my third sheath).
