Plunder is awful for battle pass progression but unreal for levelling your season level. Using double xp tokens I’ve managed to get 120k experience from a 15 minute plunder game

Sadly, this is my first CoD game in recent years and I've never played with thus new battle pass system so when I looked thru it and saw "oh hey, I'll be getting my money back AND THEN SOME!" I just went ahead and bought it. It was only after the fact I realized.... hey I should have made sure I was going to make it that far before I spent money on it.... whoops. But I think that could be an edit to your strategy: Even if the final unlocks are the only ones you find interesting, if you get far enough in the pass to get 1,000 points back then you're not losing money even if you dont make it to tier 100. Im still figuring this all out tho, so I'm sure you have your methods ^-^

I'm having a hard time completing the "rigged to blow" season challenge (getting kills with proximity mines). I tried to play hardcore Nuketown, but I can't get reliable kills. Do you think you could give us some tips? Like best maps or best corners for proximity mine kills. Also any tips for quad feeds? You could run hard core if thats your thing, but I'm not a fan so thats now where I'd go. If you're having trouble I think the main reason would probably be people running with Flak Jacket. The only tip I would give is to play objective based modes, like Dom, and drop them on objectives where you know people will be going. I would also use the blue Gearhead perk so you can carry 2 at a time and then throw them on opposite sides of the same point. These are pretty standard methods, but its all I could offer. Hope it could help

I also hate the concept of battle passes bc they always feel like work, plus I'd argue 90% of the content people don't even use. Like maybe 5 out of 100 tiers (including the guns) are things that I want. What happened to in game challenges to unlock things? Battlefield 3 had it right with Assignments. Imo in shooters, all battle pass items should be developer created and community created (but developer curated for taste) weapon skins

So either youre not going to play the game and therefore don't need the items, or you really want them to play the game, so just play it normally as you will unlock stuff quicker

Plunder is always so buggy for Battle Pass. I've played 5+ games in a row and got absolutely nothing. I always play any other mode if I'm aiming for Battle Pass XP. I've always felt like Double Battle Pass XP worked when NOT in Plunder.

Sbmm has ruined the fun in the franchise for me anyway so if i get CoD: cold sweat it will only be for campaign and solo zombies.

If you play consistently non-stop for 5 hours you will be halfway through the battle pass if you win every game with a KD of one and you have at least 25 kills per game because each game takes between 10 and 20 minutes. So if you're pushing a true 20 to 40,000 XP every 20 minutes it goes a lot quicker than you would think. Not everyone has time to play 4 to 5 hours a day it's a little ridiculous

I feel that whenever anyone tests Plunder for progression they never take into account that what gives you more xp or protression is finishing contracts, making it to the top 10 teams and actually playing the game. Since MW and now in CW I attribute most of my BP progress to playing Plunder. Usually, in the mid tiers, I do 1 to 2 tiers per game when finishing in that top 10 or even winning. Also, Survival, as with zombies, boosts your BP immensely but I think nobody cares. Just my opinion, I really hope they stop throwing Plunder under the bus all the time :(

I just feel Plunder has been greatly misunderstood through all of WZ as Team Deathmatch in Verdansk when it can be so much fun, just as Survival or Spec Ops and I feel that maybe diving deeper into how XP or BP progression works in Plunder might shine a light on it's potential. Something id love to know is how double ecp tokens effect zombies matchmaking bonuses. I brought the game as it seemed Zombies had come back big and boy its been a really fun time, the MP is abit... halo jumpy and sweaty but zombies is kicking arse for me personally. But im super hesitant to pop double exp or weapons exp as most games are longer then an hour, so when that total exp and bonuses is tallied i wonder if the bonus is even taken into account? What I meant to say is that this zero XP and zero battlepass progression thing that tilted so many people during MW’s life cycle (including myself) is not gone, so praising BOCW for not having it is simply erroneous. Then again, you’ll notice I used words like “kinda” and “a little bit” because I simply wanted to play the devil’s advocate and highlight some of my own data. I also acknowledged Sour’s data was sound based on his experience, and that it might just have been a case by case situation. yes it keeps going up to 1000. and you earn a prestige key every 50 levels. and then everyone gets reset back down to level 1 of their current prestige at the start of a new season

Thanks for doing all this testing. I was feeling like 2x tiers werent really doing anything considering I mainly leveled my pass up in Zombies. I was at around Tier 50 by the time the double tiers started, so that might be why it felt like it wasn't helping. Also the fact that it didn't work at all in MW is hilarious, that game is such a broken piece of trash. I would love to see them fix it, but who knows if they ever will.

I know this is a little irrelevant to the topic of this video, but lately I've seen people in CW that seem to be using three perks in a single perk slot. Like, in the kill cam it showed them using Ghost/Ninja/Gunho. I've tried finding anything talking about this but so far I've seen nothing, not even forum posts. I was just wondering if it was a visual glitch and doesn't reflect their perk choice or if it was some sort of exploit. For some clarity, I've only seen this on players that are playing either really well or just straight up cheating. I just want to make sure I'm not crazy when I see it because it seems to be an issue no one else is talking about. I also want to check if it's a legit tactic because I would love to run nothing but yellow perks if I could. I want to stress that I'm not mistaking it for perk greed because the kill cam typically shows all six perks if they have that wildcard.
