Yeah, I like walking the docks to check out all the boats so it seemed like a good idea. Thanks for watching Jim!

@@CaptainCody7 Was that a Salmon that jumped out of the water around the 3:30 mark?
@CaptainCody73 жыл бұрын
@@jimpinder6385 Yes indeed! There is a hatchery of pink salmon on the other side of the marina so there are quite a few within the marina as well.

Curious on your preference between aluminum and glass hulls? I have a 20’ Hewescraft searunner and have been thinking about going to a 23’ Parker to improve ride and get out further. What do you think?
@CaptainCody73 жыл бұрын
I honestly have not spent any time one either of those hulls to say for sure. However I know the the 25 foot Parker has a reputation for being able to go far offshore. It is even used on charters in many locations. If you can take the 23 for a test drive on a rough day. Thanks for watching!

Hello, I noticed most boat you profield have two motors ,as two are not necessarily better then one when it comes to outboards I wondered if this is more of a backup situation ?
@CaptainCody74 жыл бұрын
Yeah, there are some boats out of Sitka Alaska with one motor. Most have two motors cause the good fishing is about a 20 mile run. When that far from port many anglers like the idea of having a backup motor. On heavy boats over 25 feet the two smaller engines is typically about the same or equal for most factors. I know there are some good videos out their where people compare all the specs and operating cost differences of two 150 motors vs one 300 motor for example.
