Its very sad that they dont play their old songs in their concerts I recently attended their concert I was hoping them to play shiver, trouble, amsterdam and few other old gems. Bt sadly the concert ended without them playing those songs. Regardless of that the concert was super amazing

Great song! Chris Martin is actually a very intellectual guitar player! The tuning of the guitar and the chords he uses are a very diiferent melodic style! A true genius! Nice guitar he uses Vintage Sunburst Gibson SJ-200! I have the same one!

As Mr. Rares David pointed out, that is how you play it the official way. I found another way to play it in standard tuning, no capo required. It goes like this, Verse: C/G, (022010), (355030), "You don't have to be alone" part, (355030), F, (022010), (355030). Chorus: Dm, C/G, (355030). That should be right, good luck!

you have to tune the guitar in F,Bb,Eb,Ab,Ab,Db and then use the chords he's using. It's quite simple once you get the strumming (quite simple again)

They don't perform anything but Fix You from X&Y because they were very unhappy with that album overall. They scrapped a lot and rewrote a bunch of songs and felt like they "didn't get it right" so it's very rare for them to play any songs from it. It's a damn shame because X&Y is a masterpiece.

The new album was suppose to be a happy energetic type of album they even said in a couple interviews that this album is a rose bursting through concrete you always have to try new stuff and thats what they did and i did like the older albums as well im not one of those fake coldplayers who only like coldplay cause of "paradise"
