I have heard it for the first time, lost in despair, broken, in cold and damp rented small room somewhere in the UK. This song gave me hope that one day I will find myself in better place. Within less than 10years I achieved more than I could imagine and I have been dancing salsa and bachata for 4 years in my better place.

I first heard this song in Miami in 2013. I was eating outside at a Cuban restaurant with friends. I could not help but get up and dance on the sidewalk while our waitress danced with me. Now I teach beginning salsa dance to THIS song. It's my all time favorite. I loved this song even before the Latin version.

Man this song calls back so many memories, the summer of 2018 when it was sunny everyday while I worked as a delivery boy in the hot sun and after work I was chilling with my co worker at his place and we played video games, listened to music and talked about girls till the next morning the sun came up. That was also the time I liked a girl at work and I really did my best to convince her to take her out on a date. She never reached me ever again and she left me heartbroken with the meaning of this, my story suits the music well. The lyrics has a sad tone but the salsa filling warmth and joy to the song so it teaches us to embrace hardship in life that we always should seek and never should give up on love and after the time I listen to this song again in the sunny weather, my patience would be fulfilled in the hot sun again
